Apparently they were debating whether to put Alex in ssf4. but he doesn't really have a good reason for being there. I reckon they'd have to make his friend Tom a character to if that was the case. when playing ssf4 i put japanese voice for gameplay and english voice for cinamtic. my days on sf2 have always hear japanese voice so ss4 hearing english voice on gameplay dont sound authentic and its weird.
i like seeing ultra when the oponent is not finish. doing ultra and oponent lose show sun rise that took over the actual animation of ultra.

Juri has poor reach and is only overpowered if your defense isnt good enough to keep her at bay. t hawks reach is so cheap its sickening. two of his moves on easy will take your bar down 60% and they arent even specials.

It's three things. The 2.5D gameplay is one part, as purest mostly want either 2D or 3D, rarely the inbetween. Then there is the nasty fan war that erupt thanks to MUGEN fanbrats. Lastly, there's those who just want the series to end.
MUGEN is a program where people put all sorts of fighting game characters (and anime, etc) into a game. Fine idea, but too many "Fighter A is better than Fighter B because game C sucks" arguments happened. I have a habit of calling it MUGEN drama when fighting fans argue over nonsense.
As for any series, fans will keep everything alive.

She's been nerfed quite a bit. Her ultra does a lot less damage than it also did.

Most characters only have like one move and linked into combo. She'll be played at a tournament level (if they use consoles of SSF4) like any other character, with proper linking, which she's capable of.

She has Sagat's type of reach with her kicks, not to mention that you get smacked by that aura that flies out of them. crap i should of waited a year for this then buying sf4 i thought about it first thinking that capcom probaly release a super or ultra or what ever but i thought it would be dlc since we live in dlc age now it now makes it pointless in the first place to buy SF4 in the first place since there releasing the same game with some improvements and 10 new characthers for less than SF4 but i probaly with a year later since they probaly release another version that would be better than SSF4

3) You must know very, very little about fighting games. The mechanics have been tweaked and balanced, hitboxes changed, certain combos stopped, new ones added, stamina and stat changes, new online modes, etc.
It's pretty simple, there is too much data for DLC and too much has changed for it to be added to the game.

have u played oblivion 4 its dlc are huge massive worlds and heaps of new stuff more data then ssf4 new content yes i can understand the whole tweaks and stuff but this is a new age its not possible to be put on as dlc they can break it up and put new characthers and the tweaks on one dlc then who ever wants the new levels and novelty stuff then they can download it all i want is the tweaks and new characthers thats the main chunk of the new content thats needed
1) Oblivion and the likes are built from the ground up with the idea of DLC/expansions in mind, that's why you didn't see anything like this in early 360 DLC.
2) Console games have RAM limitations (hard to take in, I know, this shit? so complicated!) when you introduce lots of content the game was not designed with in mind (IE characters) you incounter alot of problems, and then console's limitations kick in.
3) Microsoft and Sony are bitchslapping publishers around with DLC, and for them to get the stuff you want (which is STILL too much for christ sakes) it'd likely cost them more money than it would take.
4) Since this game is mostly fueled by download, /EVERYONE WOULD HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS STUFF TO EVEN PLAY/. Meaning unless they somehow talked microsoft into letting them have a mode for vanilla users and then people with /several stages of dlc/ then it would become unplayable.
In eithercase, atleast the stupid L4D2 boycotters had some form of excuse with the open-ness of PC gaming, I very much doubt you had even began to think about the limitations that console DLC implicates.

so what the dlc of oblivion which has one massive world added to it is not as big as a simple as characthers and tweaks to and already completed game which is simple in desgin in comparison to oblivion and also Fallout 3 and its dlc content

Oblivion was -made with the intention of incoperating dlc in the future- this means they had preset protocols for dealing with this when it is introduced, using those same protocols, others could make their own for the game -- and they have, if you look up mods for oblivion it's something that's very easy to do.
Fallout 3 uses the exact same engine, thus has the same preset protocols for DLC, this is something that is extremely difficult to incoperate after the fact, and besides all of this that a frigging /child/ could understand, the things they have introduced changes the game so dramtically that it is worth making an entirely new game.
Besides all of that, how much do you think they would charge for it, hmm? Just.. goddamn I had no idea you could be this ignorant and stupid. Christ.
The game looks cool... Anyone notice that the Ultra Gauge is divided in 2 parts??? A new Special Move maybe? Hope so.... I was very disappointed with the Special Moves on Street Fighter 4. They are Useless : do no damage, very hard do get the gauge and is blockable

She's been nerfed quite a bit. Her ultra does a lot less damage than it also did.
If you play street fighter and complain about spamming, then it's not the best of games for you =P
Most characters only have like one move and linked into combo. She'll be played at a tournament level (if they use consoles of SSF4) like any other character, with proper linking, which she's capable of.
If you're talking about XBL and PSN, they're just full of scrubs, what do you expect? :3

Lol it was the last of your points. I'm sure that she'll be changed in most ways, I'm just talking about her standard moves. She has Sagat's type of reach with her kicks, not to mention that you get smacked by that aura that flies out of them. Either way, I still think that she can link one of her EX moves into something cheap. We can only wait and see.

crap i should of waited a year for this then buying sf4 i thought about it first thinking that capcom probaly release a super or ultra or what ever but i thought it would be dlc since we live in dlc age now it now makes it pointless in the first place to buy SF4 in the first place since there releasing the same game with some improvements and 10 new characthers for less than SF4 but i probaly with a year later since they probaly release another version that would be better than SSF4

70 new ultras alone is far too much data for "DLC".
Factor in the ten new characters, stages, all of the new online modes, the new cutscenes.. I mean jesus christ it is not that hard to understand, you people are retarded.
Ontop of that, the game isn't even going to be full priced and owning the first gets you some kind of extra stuff.

1) It's 10 characters, not 8.
2) Capcom said this is the only update they are making to the game, and have created a system for allowing DLC for this one.
3) You must know very, very little about fighting games. The mechanics have been tweaked and balanced, hitboxes changed, certain combos stopped, new ones added, stamina and stat changes, new online modes, etc.
It's pretty simple, there is too much data for DLC and too much has changed for it to be added to the game.

I don't know the price in australia, but I know it's being reduced by about $20ish.
That being said, you're still fucking stupid for seeing all of the changes and calling it a ripoff, tekken 5 did the exact same thing and was /globaly praised/.
The only people complaining that this isn't DLC are idiots that don't understand the limitations of DLC or haven't really looked into this game at all.

have u played oblivion 4 its dlc are huge massive worlds and heaps of new stuff more data then ssf4 new content yes i can understand the whole tweaks and stuff but this is a new age its not possible to be put on as dlc they can break it up and put new characthers and the tweaks on one dlc then who ever wants the new levels and novelty stuff then they can download it all i want is the tweaks and new characthers thats the main chunk of the new content thats needed

Okay, crash course in dlc, ready?
1) Oblivion and the likes are built from the ground up with the idea of DLC/expansions in mind, that's why you didn't see anything like this in early 360 DLC.
2) Console games have RAM limitations (hard to take in, I know, this shit? so complicated!) when you introduce lots of content the game was not designed with in mind (IE characters) you incounter alot of problems, and then console's limitations kick in.

3) Microsoft and Sony are bitchslapping publishers around with DLC, and for them to get the stuff you want (which is STILL too much for christ sakes) it'd likely cost them more money than it would take.
4) Since this game is mostly fueled by download, /EVERYONE WOULD HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THIS STUFF TO EVEN PLAY/. Meaning unless they somehow talked microsoft into letting them have a mode for vanilla users and then people with /several stages of dlc/ then it would become unplayable.

well the reason im pissed off about it is the sf4 games in australia for ps3 is $120 and the 360 $110 can u see why im pissed i shelled out $120 for sf4 on ps3 i thought about it first in case they decided to make a super and turbo etc and i thought hold on this a time of dlc etc so i bought it if i had known about ssf4 i wouldnt of bought sf4 and waited till this comes for much less

5) To get just the characters and all the new online options while still supporting vanilla users they'd have to set up several different networking systems which again, causes problems!
6) Incorperating DLC (which is usually not compressed, like on a physical disc) that was not designed for the game originally would take up a fuckton of space, if they even could manage to manipulate the game to this in the first goddamn place.

so what the dlc of oblivion which has one massive world added to it is not as big as a simple as characthers and tweaks to and already completed game which is simple in desgin in comparison to oblivion and also Fallout 3 and its dlc content

Oblivion was -made with the intention of incoperating dlc in the future- this means they had preset protocols for dealing with this when it is introduced, using those same protocols, others could make their own for the game -- and they have, if you look up mods for oblivion it's something that's very easy to do.

Fallout 3 uses the exact same engine, thus has the same preset protocols for DLC, this is something that is extremely difficult to incoperate after the fact, and besides all of this that a frigging /child/ could understand, the things they have introduced changes the game so dramtically that it is worth making an entirely new game.

The game looks cool... Anyone notice that the Ultra Gauge is divided in 2 parts??? A new Special Move maybe? Hope so.... I was very disappointed with the Special Moves on Street Fighter 4. They are Useless : do no damage, very hard do get the gauge and is blockable
