I have seen John play twice. Once to a crowd of maybe 1000 or so at Britt Festival in Southern Oregon and the second time in a conference room at our local library for maybe 20 to 30 people. I was maybe twelve and I absolutely loved his music. Unfortunately I only revisit his music when I am really depressed but I will always have one positive memory. He completely forgot the words to one of his songs that he was playing. I new them by heart and yelled them out for him to continue.
