hi..first time i heard this was in about 1978, walked into a pub when a lass had just won it in a raffle, she held it up and said who wants it, i shot my hand up, shouted here i'l have it, she threw it at me, when we listened to it and we decided it sounded so very like northern soul, called a mate who was like a dictionary of northern soul and asked him about it, he told us not so many was made so to hang on to it, when i told her she asked for it back..i hung on to it and still have it......

I remember when this was a 60's newie in Wigan Casino! It was so big at the time!

It was actually recorded around 1966 and was a hit on the Northern Soul scene as early as 1975. It was certinaly played at Wigan and Cleethopes in 1976 as I have it on a tape, Live!
