  • Helpful vids! Good work :)

  • how do you see where the "null point" is on a mic? i see a little figure on some mics but its difficult to know if its the rounded side that is the "null point" or where it goes in a bit.

  • one thing that helped me with that noise in the basement was turning to a cheaper mic.....lol....that $100 handheld mic by shure came in handy......the expensive mic picked up too much of the slightest sounds.....but DON'T follow me if you serious with it......i'm far from an engineer....lol

  • really really interesting video, thanks a lot !

  • another awesome video, im' cleaning out my closet and setting up shop in there!

  • thanks man that vid was super helpful! keep rockin'!

  • Excellent tips for those of use who can't afford to make our own sound booth.

  • You wont hear that noise if your Mic is in a Sound Booth. And also if you have ENOUGH SoundProofing!

  • That's very true, IF you are in a home studio that has been PROPERLY soundproofed or you are lucky enough to have an isolated sound-booth.

Unfortunately, many people don't have that option, or they are still learning.

You have probably put a lot of care and thought into preparing your recording space since you are aware of the dangers.

Keep up the good work and happy hitmaking.
