I have not seen the trailer or prologue. You said Tom Hardy does the accent well. Just what kind of accent does he have? In the previous videos of Bane's voice at the football stadium he sounds like an old British man. However, in all of Bane's animated appearances he has a Spanish accent.

Bane does not speak Spanish or use venom; Catwoman has long hair and and does not have a cat motif= NOLAN butchering the batman mythos and raping our childhood.....KIDDING!!!! I couldn't say that w/ a straight face ;) I like how Nolan has taken the bare essentials of the Batman mythos and turned it into something modern and unique and I hop TDKR continues that tradition. It may not be able to top TDK...but I bet it will come pretty close
the prolouge was awesome.. loving the chant that they have for Bane and when i first heard his voice.. i was hoooked.. the trailer was good, hardly any batman scenes but it was good. now we gotta wait couple months for trailer 2 :( oh i wish i had a time machine
@CK61938 In comics , he have a lot of muscle, he's just huge! But, here, is just like a random guy. I hope they're going to make some effect, because I'm disappointed for this point.
@clarkent94 Depends on the comics. If anything he is closer to the Bane of Knightfall than any other Bane. He is muscle in this movie. He is not just a random guy. He is played by Tom Hardy. Google him and you will see that Tom is not just a "random guy". Tom is already a big guy as it is, but for Bane he put an extra 30lbs of muscle. And if you look at the trailer/prologue really closely, you can see his is a lot bigger than Batman.

Saw both the Prologue and the trailer in the theater and it's F*CKING AWESOME. I like that it gives you shots of everything but really doesn't tell me exactly what is going on. We see a lot of Bane, but not that much on Catwoman or the whole storyline with Marion Cotillard or Joseph Gordon Levitt. Can't wait!
Also I just saw a scene in the trailer where some prisoners break out of jail obviously freed by Bane. My guess is this is taken directly from Knightfall where Bane breaks free the inmates from Arkham to create chaos in the city and exhaust Batman so he can break him. Nolan damn sure did his research. Warms this fan's heart.
@KalvinEllis Well think about it: Batman Begins was taken from Batman Year One. And I am still trying to think where The Dark Knight was taken from, but yes TDKR is taken from Knightfall. ;)
@CK61938 I think The Dark Knight was inspired by The Killing Joke and The Long Halloween. The Killing Joke was used for the Joker's different made-up origins he was talking about in the movie as well his character psychology as a whole. The Long Halloween was about Harvey Dent's fall from grace. The stuff with the mafia, the Falcone/Maroni mob wars come all from that story. If you haven't read it I totally recommend it.
@tonnmiister I'm sure this was intentional. Probably some of Bane's lines were too spoilerish and that's why they intentionally made his voice difficult to understand for the prologue. I bet after the movie comes out we'll understand everything he says. I am sick and tired of people complaining about his voice.

Anne is a great actress, she's gonna nail the role, you can see a bit of that during that scene where she dances with Bruce while wearing a mask and whispers in his ear. The femme fatale aspect of the character is obviously preserved and people can stop shitting their pants about her not having the cat mask. Big fuckin deal, she looks great. The movie can't come soon enough.
