  • By the way, this reminds me of the old Dalí quote: "What's important is not to eliminate confusion, but to spread it".

  • The first fifteen seconds or so ... what was that? o_O Sounded like gibberish to me ...

  • Dali was so eccentric that he indeed did posess all of the described traits!

  • Shame it wasn't Groucho Marx presenting

  • if Dali was more analytical, it would have been off of artistic side

  • @dangraphic you do not get surrealists.. its all part of the art...

  • What a ridiculous ego this guy had... I'm sorry, he was basically an overlyhyped extravagant attention whore...

  • Salvador Dali! Love the panellists too - Peter Lawford! Arlene's the best though IMO :D

  • God they need to bring this TV Show back!

  • Very funny!!! Loved it!

  • This pisses me off, plus that lady cheated.

  • O my it is DALI. I learned about him.

  • Le meilleur des tagueurs, Salvador DALI! Un sujet académicien!

  • What a troll XD

  • I love this show !

  • Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. No. Yes. Yes. Yes.

If John hadn't consulted him, he would have said yes to everything.

  • Yes.

  • "Is there something quite unusual about our guest?" ....... Yeah lady, He's Salvador Dalí.

  • Wow. Dali does ALOT of things :D

  • @anabellaus8 Yup!! On twitter! Ryt?

  • SANDER COHEN

  • He was a politician too.

  • Hitchcock

  • Wtf! How did she guess that!!

I found enjoyment in this far more than I do with tv nowadays. This was awesome.

  • I just love him!

  • Dali was a leading man

  • From the golden times TV shows had a true magic. Not this current amount of crap they present on TV.

I must remark I love the way they pronounce Salvador Dali's name, with emphasis on DAHli. And that he surely was a distinguised gentleman. The sort they dont make anymore.

    Rest in peace, Mr. Dali!

  • The more I watch the snippets of this show the more it seems to me it was rigged.

  • What a shitty show, Dali was too smart for this kind of bullshit

  • This is TV

  • Salvador Dali claims to have had a conversation with Walt Disney after a visit to Spain. Walt Disney reportedly told him of his birth in Mojacar, Alemeira, Spain. We know that Walt Disney's Mother was from that region. but his fathers authenticity is still in dispute as to having been a Spaniard or an American from Illinois who fathered him with the above woman and later adopting him. Dali and Disney certainly have a similarity.

  • He's so cute. I want one of my very own that I could put in my pocket and use as a conversation piece at cocktail parties.

  • thumbs up for @sprousearts he sent me here :)

  • Salvador Dali !! yes he was and still is!!! Some paint that will live forever... i admire and envy in the same time!

  • good video here wow cool indeed

  • WOW!!!! First time I see Salvador Dalí on TV‼...All the confusion was so funny‼ .I'd like to find some of his writings.

  • @iluminadita100 Go to Amazon and purchase "Hidden Faces", they have many copies for good prices, it is a great book by Dali!

  • He was best ... i love him forever ... ;))

  • 90 people need their art spoon feed to them man.

  • How well I remember Gilbert Harding, Isabel Barnet, Barbara Braden and her Husband on the UK version. Loved that programme but hell, fifty years ago now!!

  • haha, "I guess it is YES and NO"

  • This is more humorous than a lot of today's tv programs. Great!

  • He's the most interesting man in the world.... stay thirsty my friends :)

  • the answer is YES, 100% of the time

  • All these accent are non-rhotic, this is quite strange indeed!

  • Dali might be the Liberace of the art world, but unlike Liberace he was a genius as well as an entertainer. As an entertainer, Dali once gave a lecture in a deep-sea diving suit and fainted due to lack of oxygen. Beat that, Tracey Emin!! As an artist...well, just look at his superb paintings, which transcend time despite the floppy watches. For me, and I'm sure countless others, his value as a witty entertainer does not devalue his considerable skills as a painter - one enhances the other.

  • @DanRislor He also had 2 german shepherd dogs on a leash, so what the audience had muffled by the suit they had drowned out by the dogs X)

  • THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY-KATY PERRY salvador dali ♥ federico garcia lorca

  • llés

  • he was sooo egocentric hahaha love him

  • Un genio..Salvador Dalí.Arriba españa!!

  • Salvador Dali - trolling or just trolling?

  • I love how he just says yes to everything.

  • I would've said "are you Chuck Norris?"

  • This is where MAD TV got the idea for Bae-Sun.

  • Why do they use too many words? :))

  • "Is there something quite unusual about our guest?"

    ha!

  • Compared to today's shows you can feel the intelligence of this programme.

  • Salvador Dali is pure genius OMG LOL

  • banda retorno 33

  • ESE ES SOLO EL REFLEJO DE LA MENTE DE UN BRILLANTE. COMO DESCERIBIR LO MARAVILLOSO. ES TODO Y NADA. ES INDESCRIPTIBLE. ES SALVADOR DALI

  • His signature's cool

  • VERY surreal

  • gentlemen quite like this man no longer exist....sigh

  • I wish i had met Dali

  • 6:03 you hear him whispering to Mr. Daly: "what's published?"

  • Intelligence, talent, wit and humor ~ all on one stage ... wonderful ;o)

They don't make TV - programs like that any more ... too bad

Thank you for those 9:20 minutes of delightful enjoyment!

  • It's amazing that Dali's head fit into the studio.

  • wow thats a great musachio

  • I've never even heard of Salvador Dali in any context before this clip. I feel I've been cultured a little.

    Lavenderhour sent me here

  • and he's being true; he did every art form

  • Such an amazing man.

  • great

  • Armstrong and Miller anyone?

  • Avida Dollars doing just that.

  • Are you a...rhinoceros?

  • @123picochan Yes!

  • Everyone should talk the same way as they do

  • @cauchamar, Dali born 1904 and the others on the show came from a generation where they read books, for information and entertainment. Today and since the show, society has shifted with the advent of TV and Computers that we in fact WATCH for information and intertainment. i.e., visual culture.

  • Wow, we should move back to talking like this. It actually sounds kinda gangsta. Boss, you know.

  • I see... the rhinoceros

  • yes, the language was much more refined. Perhaps because people read more then and now we have become a more visual culture.

  • @virginia1878

This doesn't hold up, I'm sorry. Far more people went to the movies back then than do so today. These people lived in just as visual a culture - whatever that means. Yet they also read far more.

  • I was looking forward to the post revelation interview... oh well.

  • wow humans have dumbed down sooooooo much in the last 50 years, I blame it on hip hop culture. now days ALL THE YOUNG PEOPLE ARE IN TO HIP HOP CULTURE witch in turn it glorifies dumbness and talking in slang wich makes people stupid, specially young people. Ever since hip hop culture started back in the late 80s people, specially young people have become way dumber.

  • EPIC MUSTACHE.

  • A misleading man! LOL

  • I was I could be in a show with Salvador Dali

  • EL NUMERO UNO, SIN DISCUSION. SURRRRREALISSSS MO!!

  • @elgranjaumet Yes !

  • Hugely entertaining.

  • ... and then jews took media.

  • @Elect2 dude youre dumb this is when the Jews owned the media even more, now days not so much anymore. They still own a few big studios like Warner Bros and some stakes of some networks but in those days the jews owned everything. All the studios and all the networks. Now days not so much.

  • this one was hilarious

  • Delightful trip down Memory Lane. Forgot what Dorothy K. looked like, though, who could forget that voice. And, Senor Dali, what an ego you had!

  • Comment removed

  • i heard that he filled up a limo with cauliflower and rode around in it just cause...

  • haha you wont see that kind of class intelligence and style (and by style i mean inner charisma) people on tv nowadays, cause it would be too downgrading to show up for them alongside with some twat selfinvolved bubbleheads calling themselves superstars. and the worst part is, that tv is particularly forming our nation...

  • I love Salvador Dali.

  • Dali was an egotistical cunt and a borderline sociopath. He cared about himself and his art, that's it.

  • Dali is one of the painting masters of all time.

" . Que genio este hombre... será eterno

  • I hope you mentioned spike lee and Conan as a joke but I agree, this truly is the age of crap.

  • Dali pure uniqueness and excentric talent of a man

  • Keep saying Yes

  • Elmer Fudd's debut appearance on TV.

  • i love the we Dali looks at his signature just when sitting !!

  • They're all so well spoken and intelligent. Can anyone name celebrities today who rate the same comment? Spike lee maybe? Conan?

  • Yes.

  • Dali will always be a huge inspiration to artists. Such an interesting man!

Also, I absolutely love John Daly. He's a wonderful host! Funny, witty and he has such great charisma!

  • i wish we had such revered and worthwhile true artists like this today. i pray for the future of humanity

  • @thatboyhov I believe a "worthwhile true artist" once said, "You better start swimming or you'll sink like a stone, for the times they are a-changing."

  • his mustache. that is all.

  • This remind me of the show the two thugs from 101 dalmatians were watching. Maybe it was paraded by Walt Disney? (I just looked at the links, and Walt Disney himself was on this show o.O)

  • Its amazing how intelligent everyone sounds compared to current day

  • @jimjamerman i was thinking the same thing!

  • @jimjamerman dumbing down was not in fashion yet

  • Respond to this video... look at how he naturally kisses the hands of the ladies, and without irony or ceremony or double entendre

  • @jimjamerman You are so right, MTV generation and this hip culture messed everything up for us.

  • @jimjamerman Everybody but Lawford! :oP
