Tom Green is such an asshole. But in a absolutely, brilliantly, sarcastically amazing way. If I was going to be an asshole, then I would want to be an asshole like him.
True, comedy is very subjective. However, JC819's remark was to me wasn't funny at all. So I merely said "Next time say something we can both laugh at". Honestly, if he's not going to think about what I said and give a well thought out answer then I'll brush him off. Now, what do you think about what I said about this video? Do you feel that Al can avoid prying questions by saying something weird? And if he does that, why is it so widely accepted for him and not for other celebrities?
Anyone notice that he didn't answer the question with an honest answer... He avoided the real answer by giving his weird answer, which isn't uncommon for him. Al is such a smart guy because people learn what he decides he wants them to learn about them. If he decides that he doesn't want to answer it he goes says something weird and everyone accepts the answers as "valid enough". If this was anybody else, a "weird" response will not be accepted and will end up reflecting badly on that person.

As much as I love Al, he was being ridiculously random during this show. It was actually hard for me to watch because he didn't stop bouncing around.
Any other time he has been asked this question, he answered honestly. He got his inspiration from Pat Boone, Frank Zappa, and many others.
