@lensol its a little uncomfortable for about half an hour after you stretch, then its fine. i have two 18mm (almost 20mm) plugs, and ive never had much pain at all. go ahead and do it xD fuck the haters

I was born with cupped ears which makes my blood circulation poor in my ears..since wearing regular earrings is hard for me I can never imagine getting gages. I had to go through reconstructive surgery on both my ears and am going again this summer which is another reason I just cant imagine it. The pain of surgery and ruining perfect ears by your own hands when Im sitting there with things I cant control tht hurt very badly? Im happy you got them fixed<3

Oh please, you could go up to a 0 (or 00 depending on you) and they would close back up to regular size. And be "perfect" again. @limegreenCow1 It doesn't hurt much. I stretched mine once, and I took them out because I went up like from a 14g to an 8g (only tapers they had) and it didn't hurt much more than the original piercing.

@CircaHasFallen I had the same situation with my parents when I wanted to get my cartiledge pierced. Yeah I know, plugs are a bigger decision and commitment than one cartiledge piercing, but anyway, you know what I mean. Tell your parents that you've thought about it for a while and that you really want them done. Then be sure to tell them that you can go smaller than a double 0 after a while if you wish, or do as mitchell did and get them sewn shut. I hope this helps & good luck !!!!
