when it comes to exploiting 3rd world countries, takin over lands, its ok... but the japanese government kills a whale, the whole white race is opposed. the fact is the world is racist and will continue to be. fear and respect are two sides of the same coin. power is achieved through violence and the only way to get respect is to carry big guns...
Its not about killing "A" whale, its about killing thousands of wales and raping the marine eco system like they have done in other regions around the world. And the fact is what they are essentially doing is illegal but using a loop hole in the law to justify it. Why do you bring the race card into it? Asian people are supporters of the Sea Shepherd organisation also.
EU Executive Commissioner to Japan: "There is no need to kill whales to obtain "scientific" information about whales," the EU's executive Commission said in a statement.
the IWC...what a joke...scientific whaling...a bulls**t excuse for commercial whaling. Thank goodness for activism, it calls attention & creates awarness. The biggest problem is there is no "official" conservation law enforcement out there on the sea. Viva Sea Shepherd, if not for them none of us would be aware of what's going on!Knowledge is power. We all could take some lessons from Sea Shepherd & crew!

THE IWC yesterday condemned the "dangerous actions" of campaigners trying to stop whalers in the Antarctic Ocean. The Commission, which has just concluded a three-day meeting at Heathrow, released a statement criticising US-based anti-whaling group the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society for "jeopardising safety at sea". The IWC yesterday said it "called upon the society to refrain from dangerous actions that jeopardise safety at sea, and on vessels and crews concerned to exercise restraint".
i don't get it, when Japan does this, we dont like it, but the US kills all kinds of animals all the time. I recently found out that scientists in the US blast sonar at like 1000Db in the ocean to study the ocean floor, but the sound rips the eardrums of whales and kills them. Where is greenpeace to stop that??
Actually, as an American, I can tell you that Greenpeace is very active in the US. There are many things that our government allows that we are fighting...the sonar blasts being one of them. We make our voices heard here. I think EVERY country needs to be held responsible for it's wrongdoings. Are there people in Japan who stand up against whale hunting? I'm just curious. A big thank you goes out to the Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace for fighting the good fight and keeping us informed.

I wish those Japanese whaling ships harpoon a Chinese submarine by mistake. Then Greenpeace and Sea Shepherd will have one less ship to worry about.

Look at Japanese "scientists"!! What a poor condition they have. LMAO Now I'm going to watch a video about "scientists" in slaughterhouses.

The Japanese are in violation of IWC regulation 19(a) The IWC regulations.
Greenpeace, SSCS, etc are authorized to interfere with whaling under UN world law.

Entire European Union EU has just declared a unified decision AGAINST Japanese whaling. Encompasing its entire 27-nation bloc.

I agree with IwantDemoracynow but just as the blasting is wrong so is the whale hunting.
No country should be killing them.

Who does what does not matter.
You have to start somewhere and these groups try to stop whaling.
Yes IWantDemocracyNow the americans are wrong to and I guess they are on the agenda to.
Just because somebody else does something to it does not mean you just have to sit and do nothing.
