I just put chicken pieces in a large baking dish, cover the dish with foil, cook and turn occasionally til the juices run clear then GRILL the chicken pieces for a few mins on both sides. This is the best way I find.

Ight well this way of making chicken is alright, as for spices and butter, you should slice some real butter and put it under the skin where the breast is. Your chicken will be a lot juicer and not as dry.  The microwave part isn't really needed but what ever.
