Great buck!!!! Muzzleloader is the way to go. I just got a new inline this spring and I love it! A quartering away double lung shot is a difficult one to do, looks like you nailed it.. What kind of bullet/powder combo were ou using? I am trying out 120 grains of Blackhorn with a 250 gr Hornady SST low drag- very flat shooting. I can get 3-4 inch groups out past 150 yards with my gun with iron sights, and out at 200 yards pretty well with my scope. Can't wait til this upcoming deer season!

They took their time stalking, but one of the guys admits that while the bucks are fighting the hunters could have gotten within 10 yards. Since the only deer in the video when the shot is fired is the one he shot, you can't know that the loser (not LOOSER) was running (though he may have been), but when the camera zooms out he is only about 10 yards from the dead deer,
so he either a) is a very slow runner b) walked back to see his dead adversary or c) wasn't runnning when the shot was fired. The winning deer in a long fight won't chase his adversary very far and the loser knows it. He isn't going to run after the victor quits chasing. They are both too tired.

Nice shot man! The deer are a lot bigger on the prairies than on Van Isle. We just have little ones here, but they're very cagey, and spooky. MY deer and this smaller one were fighting but they split off to soon so then me and my dad went walking after them and my deer came out of a bush walking towards me and i dumped him as well. I had a easier shot thow because i was on a fence post. My deer was about the size of the loser deer you had.
