But, I don't think she was saying that another man was "hitting" her....she was saying that he was starting to occupy and fill in space where her man should be. But in the song she clearly states that she hasn't done anything with "the man" she has been seeing. But that her current man is neglecting her and if he doesn't start to pay her "due attention" that he can be replaced.
