I have to say MK:9 has the best one so far. That china cymbal rhythm sounds real catchy, I guess I'll give the 2nd to MKvsDC. I think it's dark and complex though it sounds like if Hans Zimmer made it for a Batman movie. The las would have to be given to MK:D which held 1st place till MK vs DC came about.

Showing the characters animated in Armeggadon was a great idea, for it's reminiscent of the old games with previewing the actual in-game models of the characters. I suppose though that to save space and time, they wanted to stick with still images, which is fair enough. Animation though is always a nice touch.

Its funny seeing this. Due to boon wanting to start MK over from scratch the story was retconned, The only characters left after MK9 is Raiden, sonya, cage, quan chi, shinnok, and the new kombatants of mk4. Shao kahn being killed leaves Deadly Alliance obsolete, Reptile was killed so there goes Deception, and Armageddon wasnt canon anyway.

I like the MK9 character select music (way better than MK vs DC's practical silence thats the same as the main menu music) but the PS3's odd layout is a bit wierd for me. 2 Kratos images at the bottom and you can't highlight one of them. It goes Kratos, Sheeva, Blank space then Kratos again. If its just a placeholder for Quan Chi or Cyber Sub Zero, why couldn't they just have replaced the second Kratos image with another blank space? Regardless, MK Deadly Alliance is still the best for me!!!
