The part that was falling out is supposed to be a latch of sorts to take the blade in/out. It is supposed to push up to remove/install. I have found in mine that the blade does not stay secure. I would like to know how to fix that.
@doctordmdavis1 Yeah... I don't know. This kife completely wore out with a few months. I've since chucked it and replaced it with a Kobalt (also made in China, unfortunately) that has proven to be MUCH better quality than the Park. What a shame a great company like Park would put their name on such a piece of crap.
Thank you for taking the time to do this video... I have this knife and really like it, but have worn the blade down. I could not find any info anywhere on how to change the blade until I stumbled upon your video.... so thanks! I am going to go change the blade now.
