  • this is so much better then the ripped hiphop version thank u cuefunk1 xx

  • I AM AN OLD SKOOL GIRL AND I LOVE JOE SAMPLE!

  • 2pac never intended to record "Dear Mama". he used a lot of lines from Dear Mama in other songs. one day he requested the producer of Me Againest The World to play this very track and he laid down his beautiful heartfelt vocals......Joe Sample's track is GREAT......

  • What i hate is, everytime i visit an old song, there's always somebody that posts who sampled it, look we don't care who sampled it, why can't you just enjoy the song and give credit to the real artist, and not the faggot who sampled it and made a beat off of it.

  • @snorlax140 Because it's been given another chance in a new generation of pop culture to see another light of day. DON'T HATE the crate digger! Would you rather just let it sit on a dusty shelve??

  • @LAGTONE This song is not dusty, it's creative and should always be used as it is without somebody sampling it

  • @snorlax140 you sound like a dick. why cant YOU give credit to someone who takes an old song or 2, mixes it up with some new instruments, heavier bass, and hopefully good lyrics, and creates something new out of it. sampling takes nothing away from the original artist, in fact, it is almost like a form of paying respect. so pull your head out of your ass and realize there is nothing wrong with sharing good music.

  • @tehgreatist And you sound like a dick rider, sampling is the reason why people are talking more about Tupac than Joe Sample, how about you realize instead of sounding so defensive about your favorite samplers.

  • @snorlax140 LOL @ a hip-hop fan shitting on people who sample. You're aware Stoupe samples other people extensively right? All of your uploads even say "No samples were used" like you're looking for a pat on the back for making shitty beats without the use of a sample. Well done.

  • @Aardvarked88 So basically you're saying people make shitty beats without sampling, thanks for reminding all of us if it weren't for these guys rap wouldn't be where it is now

  • @snorlax140 No, I'm saying that your beats are shitty. There are a lot of artists who make dope beats without sampling, you're just not one of them.

Clearly you're a misguided idiot who's on a personal crusade against sampling despite listening to a genre dominated by it. If you don't appreciate the art you should listen to another genre, newjack.

Tupac didn't steal shit either, he didn't make the Dear Mama beat, try not to be so fucking hilariously ignorant.

  • @Aardvarked88 LOL exactly, you're the only one saying that because i'm only disagreeing with what you're saying about sampling. Haha you're only dick riding those people that are doing it, and you're in defense of the sampler when this song really isn't his? Come on man, not only are you a dick rider but an idiot.

  • @snorlax140 uhhh, what? are you that ignorant? you think no one is talking about joe sample because tupac and de la soul sampled his shit? thats not how it works buddy. the level of stupidity in that comment is unbelievable, i barely know where to begin. you are trying to argue that tupac "stole" the music and that people are gonna listen to dear mama instead of this when they want to hear joe sample? the only thing sampling does is bring old music to a new audience. stop being an ass

  • @tehgreatist Not exactly :P

  • Of course you're listening to WRMS F.M... And we play nothing but De La Slooow music...

  • the guitar part is musical genius

  • Memories of Vaughn Harper and the Quiet Storm. WBLS- NYC!

  • @manatole1981 Soft... and warm. The Quiet Storm...

  • @psychoreactive - can I get a witness?!

  • DEAR MAMA

  • its like 2PAC Dear Mama !

    <3

  • @G4nJa4LiFe its not "like Dear Mama". its the original song thats been sampled from for Dear Mama.

  • @getalifesoon ok ;D good

  • @getalifesoon I respect you for saying that.

  • @getalifesoon right LOL!

  • @getalifesoon Which is why I say "CHECK THE ARCHIVES" You might find something....

  • This is one of the most Bittersweet songs ever....a perfect example of "less is more"....everyone could rip it up on those instruments....but they just lightly play enough to all fit together into a sad, beautiful song....no wonder 2pac used it.....it reminds me of my moms too!

  • Cuefunk1, I don't care who puts this on YouTube, this is the mellow out and forget about all my troubles jam! You are now one of the DJ's of YouTube for posting this ever so smooth classic! Peace and thanks again for posting the jam!

  • @crapsk8r Thats pretty cool.....SK8!!!!ER!!!!

  • @crapsk8r man THIS IS A CLASSIC , SLEPT ON BY A LOT OF PPL, many of hip hop sampled this , GOOD LOOKING MAN
