I thought that this was an outstanding performance and without doubt should have been in the top three. I do not understand why, I remember a lot of people were saying at the time that she looked like an alien,( I thought she looked great ) for some reason Sweeden has been given a bit of a cold shoulder for the past few years in the eurovision. I think they have put in some truly great songs and performances and deserve much better than some of the amature poor songs that some countries enter

I don't know what's it called in english but there's another minor contest every year songs that's didn't make it to the real ESC participate from different countries. Sweden won that one 14 out of 24 time so far, so there may be some truth behind that. I kinda prefer if we sended them tough :P

@KasperochSiri Tror inte svenskar är mer dåliga förlorare än någon annan, däremot är ESC viktigare här än någon annanstans. Det är ju skiiiitstort här. Folkfest liksom. I övriga Europa är det inte samma grej, i lika stor utsträckning. Sverige är ju också intimt förknippade med ESC sen ABBA och det är lite pride inblandat.. därför blir det landssorg när det går dåligt för oss. För att det ligger oss så varmt om hjärtat.

@motaelq Personally, I wasn't surprised at all when we didnt make it to finals. I saw it coming so to say. In general, there is a tendency in Sweden to blame someone else when we dont do well in ESC. A popular way to explain our failure in ESC is by accusing our schlager guru of foul play/ not knowing what he's doing etc. Another way is to blame the voting system, the juries etc. Basically its never our own fault and the possibility that our entry sucked is just not on the map for alot of people

@Meglio85 What we will send this year I cannot say. The outtakes have just started and will go on for four weeks now. They have increased the jury's power this year which is a good thing. They hold 50% of the votes now and the rest of us 50%... so hopefully we won't be able to overlook them and send another crap entry but will actually send something good this year. Fingers crossed.
