I think she would have been a much better first lady then any other besides Michelle Obama in history I think Michelle Obama will have the greatest impact of history when it comes to her work as first lady but Cindy McCain I think could have been close to Michelle's legacy I voted for McCain/Palin but I love Michelle Obama!
what is this woman hiding that's so "private?" in a time where common people are being wire tapped and scrutinized, what makes miss cindy mccain above the everyone else? scandalous is all i have to say. mmn.
its no one's business.. because she files separate... because her own assets are worth 300 million from a beer industry she owns... why should she put her's out there.. they havent filed together in 28 years.. so why should WE the PUBLIC see it... I my self dont care.. They need to Leave HER alone.. she is sweet woman. Oh by The Way Im a democrat. But if Hillary dont make it.. Im voting for John... because Cindy is a more classier woman as being the first lady..
I agree with you on the first half, but you'll vote for John McCain because his wife is classier when you're a Hillary supporter? Cindy said it herself, she's not the candidate. But instead you'll vote for a guy who has complete OPPOSITE views on nearly every single issue?
Sure, if you impute everything "the Republicans" do to John McCain, you can have a field day. But that's just not how it works. Especially when you're talking about someone who has bucked his party so many times that John Kerry offered him the VP spot and Republican die-hards were desparate to find another nominee. Cheers.
The only "standard" is the legal standard which says candidates must release their tax returns. The fact that Heinz went beyond that doesn't change the relevant standard. And since the McCains didn't insist that Heinze release her returns, they are not employing a "double standard."
Now THAT is an ELITIST folks. What about McCain getting her political business connections etc? We don't have a fucking right to know? NO MORE of this. Vote for change and hold Obama's feet to the fire. It's our only chance. Ron Paul fans, shut up will you LOL..He can't win. U did fight hard but he can't win!
I'm not the candidate is code word for. I'm rich and don't care what you people want. My husband makes 1/100 of what I am worth. So HaHaHaHaHa! I'm rich and I own you people, I'm rich I can do whatever I want!!!! :P
John Kerry made less money than his wife, who inherited most of her fortune. The McCains are in a similar boat. In 2004, Teresa Heinz Kerry resisted calls for disclosure, just as Cindy McCain is now. Republicans insisted that all materials, relating to Kerry's income and his wife's, be publicly released, and the Kerrys ultimately agreed.
You know, someone might even be tempted to call the McCains "elites."
To be sure, are Cindy McCain's tax returns especially significant? Not really. In fact, I'm not surprised that someone of her wealth would want to keep her returns free of scrutiny.
But it's worth noting that in 2004, the Republican National Committee spent quite a bit of time and energy demanding that the Kerry campaign release Teresa Heinz Kerry's tax returns. I guess Republican hypocrisy knows no bounds.
Did McCain himself insist that Heinz-Kerry release her returns? I think not. You have to remember that this is John McCain. Just because the Republican party says something doesn't mean he does. He has strayed from the party line many times. Just one of the multiple reasons why this whole "McCain will be Bush III" argument is bullshit, he's his own man.
"The president and I agree on most issues. There was a recent study that showed that I voted with the president over 90 percent of the time, higher than a lot of my even Republican colleagues." [Fox News, "Your World with Neil Cavuto]
McCain says different things to different people at different times--whenever it suits him. Too bad they they have these recording gizmos now that can store visual information.
McCain has also publicly criticized the Bush administration over not having enough troops in Iraq and the surge has proved McCain correct. Just because he agrees with the president's views on some issues does not mean he would go about them the same way. Therein lies part of the difference.
In the early 1990s, Tom Gosinski was the director of government and international affairs for the American Voluntary Medical Team, which did relief and medical volunteer work in third world countries.
Hired by Cindy McCain in 1991, Gosinski enjoyed his job, but he began to notice McCain's erratic behavior in the summer of 1992. In his journal, he wrote that he and others suspected the boss was addicted to painkillers and might have been stealing them from the organization.
In his journal-writing over the next few months, Gosinski would alternately complain about Cindy McCain and express concern for her well-being.
In January 1993, McCain fired Gosinski. She told him that AVMT was having financial problems and couldn't afford him.
Worried his own name had been used (he would eventually learn that it had), Gosinski approached DEA agents in the spring of 1993 to report McCain's suspicious behavior. The DEA launched an investigation.

I write this on July 31, so at this point it's obvious Cindy is as big a liar as John. All they've done is dishonest negative campaigning.

The Liberal Media. Look at Ann Curry here. When they show her on Camera a look of hurt or sadness. If it's a democrat she smiles.

Nat. Rev.:
Income so large by a possible First Lady matters. We saw how she helped finance John's campaign.
Weekly Standard:
Making tax returns public confirms she's his sugar momma. It strikes a blow against his rhetoric by showing a lavish lifestyle he & his wife enjoy.
Robert Novak:
No presidential candidate relied so much on his spouse's wealth. Without her, he'd not even be a senator.
But ALL are by folks saying Teresa (Heinz) Kerry should make HER returns public (& she did)

before you were married, how long were you McCain's slut mistress behind his wife of 17 years back?
how did it feel when Mccain did the same thing to you when he was screwing his lobbyist Vicki Iseman.
even after your Daddy had bankrolled him into congress?
what goes around comes around huh?.....
so Cindy, how about it being rumoured that Mccain was a client of the murdered madam Debra Palfrey?
McCain & his wife have the low morals of alley cats
vote for integrity RONPAUL2008

Though it may be offensive, there is integrity to the rumour that RONPAUL2008 is running for office.
