Although having just thought about it, they did do a live version of it on a late night Channel 4 show, of which the name escapes me. I'll have to dig out the VHS from the vaults. A pared down version, with none of the dialogue obviously. They also performed Lately if my memory serves me correctly.........

Like the dude Pyneapple said, you will only ever get the version which was featured on the VHS mag Dance International '89. Never been pressed up on vinyl or CD but it's strange seeing this up on Youtube nearly 20 years after i bought it ( in Bristol as it happens ). Was bought purely for this gem !! With better production this would have maybe slotted in nicely to Blue Lines.

Also, this song wasn't ever issued on CD. The VHS back cover says "'Just a Matter of Time...' an exclusive short film shot in the band's home town of Bristol with the soundtrack created for Dance International." But you could probably get a great audio recording off the videotape, I'd reckon. Yeah.
