He's such a good boy! My three are good for the groomer but I worry my Daisy is too wiggly. Her butt is too wiggly for sure. I'll give it a try anyway.
Beautifully behaved dog! My cocker would tear you a new one without a muzzle. Then I have to work around a muzzle which is difficult, to say the least.
All your videos are wonderful. I am from Slovakia and video of trimming your dogs are an experience for me. I also trimm the dogs, and your video is an inspiration for me. You are doing workshop in trimming the dogs?:) I do not know from where you are, sorry, but your work is great for me. Thanks.
If my groomer acts like her I'm going to be pissed. She was far to rough and didn't give that little baby enough love. Now I'm wondering if my groomer sucks also??
i'm really enjoying your videos. I used to have Cockers, now I have a Yorkie and a Morkie and a CairnX. I got some pet clippers yesterday at Walmart and I'm addicted. I always took my Cockers to the groomers for clipping but I wanted to save money in this economy so I am going to do it myself. Hubby came home and thought they'd been to the groomer... he's the one that suggested I get some clippers because of the cost... he's happy. I'm happy and learning lots from your videos!
well! Now I know why I pay my groomer so much for my little ragamuffin! LOL.. thanks for the video, it explsined a lot to me as a client and little Annabelle loks like your cockers sister! (Except she has blue merled eyes How adorable Spaniels are!
The only two things that can really help with squirmers is either a helping hand/assistant or just patience and time. Is your dog young? It takes a bit to get them used to it. Some dogs are like lightening in a bottle until you start the grooming process then they settle down. Either way it just takes a bunch of repition to get them used to it. Mine have been done once a month or more for the last 7 years so they are well used to it.
hi...i m michiko, i also got 1 english cocker spaniel,i wanna learn dog grooming in singapore, wat do u think,?and which country is good for grooming course
I would not know about any other country but my own, and there are plenty of grooming schools here you would just need to research and find out wich one is best for you. ;) Good luck and thanks for the comment!
Low on the neck? They aren't supposed to have a big bushy chest like a Springer they are supposed to have a straight line down to the floor. And yes the Andis 33/4 is the same as the Oster 3F. Thanks for your comment. :)
Thanks for the video! I've done some grooming to help pay college as I helped a friend of mine w/her shop and she showed me a few methods and I use those to groom my 15 yr old cocker spaniel. Thanks again!
Very instruction video! thank you so much for sharing! im just starting out in grooming, and I also have a Cocker. I learned alot from your video.
