  • "Thanks again Woody, I'll see you next time the world needs saving."

"Yeah, only if we sell a zillion units."

I wonder how many units this game sold...

  • I love this game. I enjoy the final bosses especially. What's wrong with it?? Besides the control being really bad.

  • @dogeymon83 people think that graphics, animation, plot and so on. But I agree more with you: it's good game with cool music, not so bad cutscenes and large levels to explore... Worst thing is that can't be in Genesis port - so if someone would do it game loses everything I like in it.

  • @dogeymon83 Yah, I had fun with it to! Still have the disc! The voice actor for Woody is even a friend of mine. No Joke.

  • Woody is High Octane Nightmare Fuel Station Attendant.

  • @ResurrectedTemplar - Between the fight of Wild Woody vs Fire Marshall Bill Burns, obviously that Fire Marshall Wins the battle.

  • @Wiiguy07 Googled his photo. He looks... handicapped, when Woody looks like serial rapist.

  • @ResurrectedTemplar - Sorry, I don't have time for that.

  • @Wiiguy07 The guy who played the voice of Wild Woody is good friend of mine. Known him my whole life.

I asked him to do the voice, he can't even do it any more. Told me that after a long time of recording many takes he couldn't talk for a while because he strained his voice so hard...

  • @VideoGameFallout - Ok, but why telling me this? But, anyway, the reason why he strained his voice, it's because of this game's voice acting.

  • @Wiiguy07 Yes, the constant yelling did get annoying, I've played the game myself and I still have it in fact. (ditched the sega genesis though)

  • @VideoGameFallout - I was planning to get it very soon, as the disc was working right.

  • At least the pencil's got some 90's attitude, but really, Wild Woody?! And he repeats his name even louder as if he actually KNEW his name is double entendre.

    "Woody, WIIIIIIILD!!! Woody".

  • he wished for a naked plastic lady? meh, to each his own i guess....

    best part hahaha

  • Yeah, I watched every single one of these and I want to murder children now.

  • @LordBababa1 - O.0 Joking or for real?

  • @Wiiguy07 I certainly wanted to murder something after watching all of these...

  • @LordBababa1 - Have fun in prison.

Broken pixels. how did this piece of shit ever get released?

  • Such a crap plot

    Terrible character and voices

Woody's personality is so overdone to be ... ugh ... "wild"

And who is the person at the start supposed to be about about? we only hear him for a second.

Just watching the intro video made me want to punch something really hard.

  • woody you got lugnuts!

    no need to get personal!

    lol

  • is there such a thing as too much animation?

  • What video game consoles do you own?

  • I have a wild woody atm.

  • "It's like a retarded gemen ashtray"

-Seanbaby (about the giant green head)

  • Now Thats 3D Cutscenes!

Awesome Cutscenes! Who Made Wild Woody On Sega CD?

  • Now Thats 3D!

  • HAI DAHSTEA!

  • My god, did they even rig those models? That's some of the clumsiest 3D animation I've seen professional or otherwise, 1995 or otherwise. They must of been guessing all of that. XD

  • My personal theory is that Wild Woody was secretly employed by shadowy forces to "erase" the mascot platformer out of existence. Just as well; he was probably one of those super-cheap Roseart pencils that always wanted to be a Crayola brandster, and took out his frustrations on the mascot world by ridding them of their problem. Right in the middle of a console war too; he should be trialed for this war crime!!!

  • Do you know the name of audio track 5 perhaps. I can't get past the first level so is it the boss theme? this is a great game. Its really too bad that it was released at a time when the Sega CD was trashed and totally ignored by consumers. I find it interesting that this game ended up in bargain bins only to wind up being one of the rarest Sega CD titles available. I'm researching Sega characters so this one highly intrigued me.

  • BUMBLEFOOT!

  • AHhh so much nostalgia

  • YOU SAVED OUR SKINS PAL! TAKE CARE!

  • Worst. Game. Ever

Who ever animated that stupid pencil should not be allowed near a computer.

  • i had cancer before this. now that iv seen Wild Woody i have been informed that i have 2 weeks to live. god i hate you wild woody.

  • @deliciousipod I think I found the website of the guy who animated that pencil, and they SAID they knew the game was going to be crap when it was being done.

Shame really, the basic concept is a good one.

  • @battybuddy What's the website called?

  • @campervan25 I forget, it's been at least 3-4 years since I last saw it. I'll look around and get back to you if I can find it.

  • @deliciousipod: I know it's been a year since you posted this comment, but I have to agree with you on this.

  • @deliciousipod To be fair, CGI was still kinda primitive back then. But, then again, surely there were better looking games, even on Sega CD.

  • Oh God... Wiiiiiiiiiiild!

  • Call me Woody... Wiiiiiiiiiiiild Woody!

  • Kick ass dude! Thanks for uploading!
