Guys remember, this is a first gen proof of concept proto-type. As a vehicle mounted or squad based support weapon firing Frag-12's this could be a great system. @dmiller0199 have you thought about contacting the military with this? I could see this in use on an SOC-R, atop an MRAP, or as a squad level support weapon once the basic problems have been fixed. The Frag-12 ammo is lighter than 40mm Grenades and you could carry more this way.

Didn't they just develope a non-jamming fully auto 12ga? AA-12! Plus you just took the modified parts to 1919 machine gun and modified it to work with a 12ga and AR lower, how about designing a fully auto 12ga that fires from a canvas belt, instead of trying to modify a device that was intended for another purpose, and the 1919 cycles better with a longer barrel, you may give that a try.

Also I suggest inventing a rimless shot shell for it as well. Go with a 3.5" shell. Be a great point defense weapon for automatic control to protect a tank from incoming RPG's, just load it up with dense shot at single O size and it would rake them out of the air. It'd suck though if you had dismounts around your tanks, but if you have dismounts nobody should be able to GET within RPG range.

Very cool design! I wish you the best of luck getting this out on the market. It would be a lot of fun at the range! I assume it is based off of the 1919A4 adapted for shotgun shells. Why not try using 1-piece brass shells to eliminate the inconsistencies of 2 piece plastic / brass shells? That should help reliability a great deal. I know the 1-piece brass shells are expensive, but that's all the more reason to start reloading your own shells. It's not difficult, just time consuming, obviously.
