the way I had it sync seemed to confer an alternate meaning, more resentful in the final section? Seemed more duplicating in yours. Who knows, I may have buggered it up.
You should upload a download for the whole song not split. I have both of these albums already so I won't be stealing I just can't do this on my laptop.
This is the best one I've heard so far (of the sync thing). Nearly perfect.
Thank you. Listening to Tool is such a strange experience because it feels like the music could go on forever and you know it would feel right if it did. Maybe it echoes some inner vibration, like our breath or our heartbeat and because of it feels so comforting.
Yours seems to sync up slightly better than mine. I wonder why? What did you use as a reference point? I tried one where I matched a drum/cymbal crash after the instrumental break and another where I matched the words "Daylight fades..." but the former sounds better. But then the last sung part drifts out of sync. However you got the sung part better synced somehow.
I do not exactly remember how did I do that but you are right. The last part is clearly out of sync. When I tried to sync it up, the rest went totally off so I left it this way.
This is almost scary how this all works out, but then again it IS Tool, so something like this should be expected i guess. I love it. Too bad we'll have to wait so long to get a new tool album.
@diabeticmonkey hahaha.. ahaha.. haha.. ha.. ha. oh lord. i like tool a lot, but fanboys like you. LORD, wow. >_> what does this show about art or music, please tell me?
@harpUnstrung68000 We all know that you're just an angry troll trying to get a rise, but I can't help but feel bad for you and your one track mind that can't comprehend. I mean, can you not read and make out what my statement means? Go back to bed kid, you have school tomorrow.
@diabeticmonkey pretty amusing how you failed to even attempt an answer: what does this show about art or music? bonus question because i'm curious, do you listen to any genres that do not involve an electric guitar, i.e. jazz, classical, electronic?
@harpUnstrung68000 The only real question here is why have you picked me to argue with? I can see from your recent comments on your profile that you go around and try to start arguments. I pity you, and your ignorance warrants no answers or further comments.
i love the echo on this so much. nice job with the sync, it sounds so much better and much more in sync on both parts than when i tried to do it myself. my only complaint is that you cut out like 30 seconds or something between parts 1 and 2 =P
Tool's music is used as a Tool. Some people look for hidden truths these sync-ups is the proof of this. It also proves that even if Tool did not create a real hidden track they mustive been aware enough of the possible syncrinization that they kept the same timing in both songs the same. As complicated as musicians as they are I hardly believe they didn't engineer "something" in these songs. You have to remember about Faaip De Oiad and how deep that is. And remember this is Tool afterall..
i agree with you...maynard strongly believes in the mayan calendar as expressed in a lot of his songs such as ænema. and the mayan calendar predicts the end of the world in 2012. Although that is just when their calendar had ended, not neccessarily the world. but if maynard follows this THEORY we will have 1 last TOOL ALBUM TO ENJOY...my guess is late 2011 just before "THE END"
Hey, try playing Lepan wings 1 and 2 all at the same time, lepan stops when wings 1 gets going, all the while, its in beat with wings two,oh and theres more alot of tenthousand days synchs up, try, the pot with right in two, theres more still, but I haven't proved it yet.
hey heaps of ten thousand days synchs up, try, synching either vicarious or the pot with right in two, they both work, or try intention and Jambi, and lepan fits perfectly at the start of this synched song aswell (they stop chanting at 1:10, that's when this song starts to build up)
To be honest...I think this whole thing is cute, but not likely an intentional move by the band. Sure, the suite itself shares parts, that's what makes it a cohesive suite. But can anyone honestly say that listening to this they think that the syncing of the three tracks honestly sounds right? Sure, tool has hidden stuff (Lateralus/Fibbonacci, Intension's reverse line, etc) but I've always felt that they secrets were obvious. This just doesn't do it for me. However enjoy nonetheless & spiral out
You have this synced right if you listen to the words you can hear different lyrics, its etchy though, like i may have took a life and its time for us to let you go home

If you love bands like Tool, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, A Perfect Circle, you should definetely check out our album, "Telos".
Look for Isurusband on youtube or google it to find our website.
Telos is available on ITunes, too.
Peace, Isurus.

Still sounds like two songs at once
evilzug666 1 year ago
@evilzug666 /sign
i think it has to do with the way they recorded the songs.
maybe they have used the metronome only for the time till part 1 ends.
i tried to syncronise it myself but i couldn't do it better.
for part 1 it's no problem and it sounds pretty nice, but part 2 is impossible to sync...

is there any way to get an mp3 of the sync?

@Ponq89 the quick heavy part that happens right before this, both songs do it. those are supposed to meet up at the exact same time right?

lol, 5 months late but i gotta put this in
aenima had absolutely nothing to do with mayan calender nor does it have anything to do with armageddon
1) hes a fan of bill hicks, a well known critic and hater of california and californian lifestyle
every single lyric directly pertains to california
"f all these gun toting hip gangster wannabes"
"f l ron hubbard and fuck all his clones"
also talks about insecure actresses freting for this and that
billyx333 2 years ago
and says "learn to swim, see you in arizona bay"
implying there is existence beyond california's sinking into the ocean (which has been predicted before, as it is directly on a fault line)
I live in california and I'm well aware of this shit hole and its inhabitants' and their lifestyles
bill hicks has comedy bits making fun of the people here
I had to throw my comment out here because im so sick and tired of hearing about 2012 and mayan prophecy
can't wait for 2013
