Matt's journey to success by constantly watching TV is not too different from my childhood too. I was always glued to the TV and was always told it's gonna waste my life. Well I'm college now on developing a career in "Screenwriting" and "Copyrighting in Advertising" and part the lectures my professors use are old TV shows and movies. Even on the books I've read about TV made me appreciate TV more. I got so inspired that I'm planning on my next college to be film school.

I wish they would cancel the Simpsons now...I absolutely loved the simpsons at its peak in the 90s, but now watching the crap that it is today just leaves a bitter feeling...The reason why Jerry Seinfeld cancelled Seinfeld was because he didn't want it to become repetitive. @007ifyable 'My Wasted Life' originally aired on BBC2 in the UK, on Friday 23rd June 2000, as part of 'Simpsons Night' - a special evening of programmes to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Simpsons.

There was also another documentary which aired the same night, titled 'America's First Family', this 50-minute special went behind-the-scenes with cast and crew, and looked at the making of The Simpsons.

I have made a petition, and a Facebook group, to try and get these released on DVD.

The Simpsons was great, went through a 4 season lul, and now is great. It is making a slow and steady recovery, season 21 and will get renewed, i swear it will! I love Matt Groening, he is a genius, and what he thought was so smart!

That is because none of the Family Guy staff/writers are talented..and even the creator himself isn't talented. The Simpsons had one thing that Family Guy will never be able to have..and that is John Schwartzwelder, Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein.
