@horber95 According to Wacom's website, it's $1999 and has been for almost ten years. I'm not sure what the other guy is talking about, other than maybe he's thinking of the packages that include peripherals or other software. For instance, you need some kind of art software that's compatible with it, like Photoshop. It's often sold along with for a little more.
hes obviously not trying to draw lol..... and from the background this is probably at some kind of expo or from the info The La Adobe Live so everyone who said that the person sukks needs to learn better observation skills
You guys are morons for talking about his drawing. Look at his hand expressions, hes explaining to passer by's, trying to advance its sales. If he drew really well every time someone came to see it, his wrist would be in peril, and Im sure he would lose his sanity.
hey, i don't know if the person that did that drawing is a pro or not... but this was taped on a Stand of Wacom.. i suposse is some kind of demonstration of the devices (of Adobe).. sorry for bad english..
i don't think es fair to say "why do all people who can afford this suck at art?"
passion roots from the metephorical heart. without passion, or emotion, there can be no art. The piece does not have to reflect the passion, but the dedication and technique to the craft does.
My company needs me to do 3D, and I'm not an artistic (drawing/painting skills) 'artist,' but I am a Video Editor/Video Effects and Animation Artist. Do you think this would benefit me? I work primarily in Final Cut Pro, Maya, Photoshop and After Effects. I will spend anything to produce a great product, but I have a Wacom and 2 23" Mac monitors that work great. However, if this will help me fine tune any of my work, I'll get it. Cost isn't a factor. Wasting money is a factor, so suggestions?

yeah, you also might want to learn to spell while you're at it
electriktricks 3 years ago 4
lol thx ill keep an eye on it
Gaia287 3 years ago
someones spelling doesn't necessarily reflect how good of an atrist they are.
CabbageTa13 3 years ago 4
No but it does show how dumb they are if they can not spell KICK.
vdell1212 3 years ago
*pft* Neither does it define someones intellectual level. They are certain things such as dyslexia and crappy teachers.
There are lots of people that blew at spelling but are recognised as very intelligent people,
for example;
Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Da Vinci, Warhol...
I'm not dyslexic, I'm just saying, lots of smart people have issues with spelling and/or grammar.
HappyTabby717 3 years ago 11
the people I listed are dyslexic (forgot to type that out just making sure my point is CLEAR)

the metaphorical heart. what they mean is that fancy gadgets do not make you any better at art, they just give you a new medium to work with.
practice with pen and paper first, and save up while practicing. then you can get whatever fancy gear you want.
admittedly i want this too. the bamboo fun is good, cheap, and works with my needs but... the cintiq just looks so... :D

Hey!
I think it's like the wacom pen tablets very very useful for drawing/sketchng and stuff done in apps like photoshop or painter.
For 3d however I wouldnt recommend it (only for texturing which is 2d stuff aswell)
I'm using XSI and i tried it with my wacom tablet nd am sticking to my mouse, much more precise and the navigation works better.
maybe you can check out the 3dconnexion's "spacetraveler" helps you navigate in 3d and is a great time saver!

forgot to mention, for Zbrush (3d sculpting app, you propably have heard of it) I imagine it to be stunning :D
You cant really use it without a tablet and I guess on that tablet-monitor it's gonne be awesome :)
I wish I could say "money is not a problem" ^^
Katzenminze 3 years ago
can it work as a web browser?
MechVulcan 3 years ago
it replaces the mouse, and if your in vista (or have an app that compensates) the keyboard as well. So yes, yes it can.

I have a wacom intous A4 for 400$ and its perfect
fuckyou6fort 3 years ago
Mate they are expensive indeed. But if I had allot of money right now, I would definitely buy one.
I have a Intuos and indeed its great. But the Cintiq is another level. :P
Elendill2003 3 years ago
yeah I have a bamboo, but I'll be getting a cintiq next week it's definately worth every penny if your a digital artist.
MournfulDemon 3 years ago
what kind of tablet is that and how much to buy one
bfconcepts 4 years ago
As it says in the title. It's a: Wacom Cintiq, and they're quite expensive, I wouldn't consider buying one unless you have $2000 + to spend.
MuddusMaximus 4 years ago
you can get the 12" one now for $999. It's not as big but it's way lighter and more portable :)
