@icynok - The majority of Europeans don't speak English. Perhaps unsurprisingly, English originates from England, making it the ENGLISH language. If foreigners choose to speak it too, that's fine, but it's still English. Americans I've heard pretending they speak another language, American, obviously don't realise how stupid that sounds. I happen to speak a bit of German but I don't think it's anything other than German no matter where I speak it or for how long I've been speaking it.
