PETA would be orders of magnitude more effective if it's members stopped messing around with cans of paint and became members of the inspectorate who supervise these farms and industries. It would not be hard, for example, to demonstrate that CO2 is not a painless method of euthanasia / incapacitation, as the gas is slightly acidic and hurts in high concentration. America abandons over 10 million pets every year. Over 25.000 are euthanised EVERY day due to new homes cannot be found. Peta euthanises sick animals otherwise adoptable one go to the go to the SPCA. The lies, propaganda and manipulation of facts on other comments here is ridiculous and not worth answering.

Fact: Rodney Coronado is a convicted arsonist whose rampage has caused millions in damage.
FACT: PETA aided his legal defense with thousands and thousands of dollars.
Question: if PETA advocates the equality for all life and does not advocate violence then why aid a criminal who uses animal rights as a reason to commit heinous and premeditated crimes against other people? Is this the right message to send?

PETA would be orders of magnitude more effective if it's members stopped messing around with cans of paint and became members of the inspectorate who supervise these farms and industries. It would not be hard, for example, to demonstrate that CO2 is not a painless method of euthanasia / incapacitation, as the gas is slightly acidic and hurts in high concentration. Nitrogen isn't and doesn't, it's about the same cost and is none tainting. Bigger picture.
