  • the Portuguese seem to have reduced even hard 'drug' use by decriminalizing....

'they' won't/can't prescribe GW Pharmaceuticals Sativex [unless "patient has cat: 4 cancer or latter stage MS " ] - perhaps [as some say] it's the £350 'ish cost per bottle to NHS.

    decriminalize.

medicinal cannabis works for many ailments IMHO.

  • ive got arthritis as well, i take paracetamol, tramadol and pregabalin and they dont work, the only thing that gives me some relief from pain is cannabis so yeah it should be made legal, and im willing to pay for it.

  • I think it should be legalized for both medical and recreational use,

  • I absolutly agree that if people want to try Medical Marijuana for health reasons that it should be made available as an option. Not all people would agree with this but its like any new product it always has pros and cons. But like you say its available in certain parts of america , holland etc but i beleive it would be a long time coming in the Uk cheers bro :)

  • Legalize it for everyone.

For pain, it is very easy to grow indicas. Aurora Indica, Hindu Kush, Afghani, etc. are all strong body stone indicas that help with pain. You can even grow a few well hidden away on public land (guerilla growing) if you don't have the space.

  • o_O"

you know...they WILL pass the bill to legalize it because people will be too into it. Thus....it will be easier for them to take control and change this world to how they want it.

  • This is why relocation centers are working. Marijuana Relocation Centers provide a place for users and their families to start a new life in relative comfort and safety, free to practice their own customs and beliefs. In this way, our values remain strong and we're free of any racial contamination

  • @IFlick

    Screw you, you nazi bastard.

  • And for my medicinal purpose say, it would greatly increase our health care system with the NHS, and that it being taxed it could boost the economy for the UK and help out with our debts, only issue i see, is that you buy a taxed eighth say £30 and a dealer will sell it the usual £25, now a person would rather go to a dealer, like i do with tobacco i buy 50g for £7.50 rather than it's taxed price £11.10. So that's something i could see happen. But if weed was legal, i could see the crime go down

  • I smoke marijuana, I'm 18. The whole cancer accusations from it well they don't realise is you use tobacco for spliffs? You can't overdose, alcohol is legal and it kills millions, marijuana kills 0, i've NEVER encountered violent stoners but you go out in town to pubs n clubs and people pissed up are violent leads people to to hospital aswell binge drinkers, which costs tax payers. So using marijuana instead would help on that note because less hospital trips. But be a user not an abuser!

  • Check out this weed video...Type in Carnagehaze and check the song out

  • DOES WONDERS FOR MY PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS ! HELPS THE PAIN SO MUCH !

I HAVE WIDE SPREAD PAIN IN EVERY JOINT AND THE MEDICAL CANNABIS IS BETTER THAN TAKING PAIN PILLS THAT MAKE ME SICK.

    DEBBIE IN CALIFORNIA !

  • Yes.

  • @BNPxTRUTH All it means is that you're going to get a stronger effect, psychological effects can occur with marijuana use, yes. The chances are extremely low though, however if you have medical history with mental issues then marijuana can bring those issues to surface. Chances are low though.

  • @BNPxTRUTH I'm not sure if you're joking or not. the only difference between smoking today and 30 years ago is well....nothing. Skunk just has higher thc levels, like the good sutff you got 30 years ago, it was always stronger than schwag. Higher thc levels doesn't change anything that will kill you.

  • @BNPxTRUTH Yup ya bang on, grown with chemicals, sprayed with chemicals, no wonder it screws people up, not just that Bro, kids have changes going on with their bodies and minds and i think chemical grown weed is a big problem here in the UK. When i visited Holland i smoked Skunk that was grown on open ground, much better i think. H&R Bro

  • @BNPxTRUTH Hey there TRUTH, thanks for the imput and comment Bro H&R

  • @MrTheEqualizer Some good feedback there Bro, i think there are deeper reasons as you point, the pharmaceutical Industry would loose out big style. Thanks for the comment H&R

  • thumbs up

    dona'

  • @dleewhee Thanks Dona xxx

  • The absurd thing is it's no worse than alcohol. Chomsky said that the US govt made marijuana illegal because all the Mexican immigrants smoked it and it was a kind of class-consciousness forming social activity that frightened the status-quo in the border states. Damn interesting theory.

  • @MusicalGhoul I guess your talking about Noam Chomsky, my fave is - If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then every post-war American president would have been hanged. Thanks for taking the time to take part in this debate H&R Bro

  • I too share your views on the topic. The side effects from using some heavy pain killers are usually far greater than the side effects from medical marijuana.

With any medication I'm sure if it was taken frequently, it would require more to achieve the purpose of it. Then there would be issues of dependences (which was what you had stated in the video for pain killers).

I'm all for it! Will be good to see how that Californian proposition bill turns out.

  • @TradieTrev With you on that one, i hate the side effects of my pain killers and would rather a natural option that chemicals that are defo known to harm and kill people. Thanks for the imput. H&R

  • Now I don't know a lot about this ... but I work in Oncology and the side effects that most of our patients experience from their pain meds is terrible. They end up taking one pill to combat the side effects of another pill and it goes on. At least marijuana is more natural and not only helps with pain control but also increases appetite ... so for people struggling with cancer this is a very good thing. Obviously they'll need some rules and regulations ... but I'm all for it mate.

  • @karmagirl74 My pain killers give me heaps of side effects that are not very nice, like you said, it's natural and it's been used for thousands of years. As far as i know no one has died as a direct side effect from weed but there are thousands of stories of people dying due to pain killers, ya gotta wonder eh. Thanks for your imput H&R xxx

  • Mate I wouldn't mind legalization but I will keep using Marijuana whether it is legal or NOT. The law will not tell me to take medicine that will damage my body worse than smoking Marijuana will.

  • @walaowow Good for you, H&R

  • FFS LEGALIZE IT!

  • FOR FUCKS SAKE, LEGALIZE IT! :)

  • @UrbanFl0w Hahahhha say it like you see it Bro H&R

  • Comment removed

  • i agree whole heartedly it needs to be legalized asap every where in the world 4 consumpition medical and otherwise

  • Here in California, it's been legal for medical for several years and society has not crumbled to the ground. We are taking a vote on it this November (as you know) to make it legal under state law... Poll numbers show it looks like we'll have more than 50% of the vote too, so it will change everything. Federal law will catch up later. Too many people know the truth now; marijuana is the safest drug and one of the most effective ones and it is wrong for any government to tell us we can't use it.

  • Marijuana is the safest substance in history. Science has proven it's so nontoxic you'd have to smoke or eat several hundred pounds in 15 minutes to get a toxic overdose. (Even if that were physically possible, you'd pass out long before getting anywhere close to 1/100th of a harmful overdose.) By contrast--aspirin, ibuprofen, and all the other "approved" drugs in my medicine cabinet will kill me if I take a few too many. It is absolutely fucking ludicrous that marijuana is illegal at all.

  • @WhistlersBrother Now heres a man that dose know his subject manner, many thanks for being brave enough to comment on my original video, big H&R to you my friend.

  • @DibbersPage LOL One of my favorite subjects. Thanks but I don't know if I can take credit for being brave; I just speak my mind because it's the truth, and I don't fear consequences because there's nothing anybody could do to me. Not only that, but I'm also in good company--the American Medical Association recently came out in favor of medical marijuana and they called upon the US Federal government to re-classify marijuana to a less restricted class of drug. (Of course the govt. ignored them.)

  • @WhistlersBrother Bit different over here Bro as it's a Home Office offence and can mean jail or fines. Thanks for the educated responce as it's good to get the imput from those who know their subject matter. H&R Bro

  • My brother and my day we used to call it Mary Jane do they still do that I was just curious peace be with you and your family in all the brothers in the United Kingdom TG out for now piece my brother LLH&R

  • @thetennesseeguy Yep seems more people than ever are having a smoke these days, guess the old horror stories of your head turning inside out done sit with folks these days, some of the greatest people ive know smoked weed. Thanks for the comment Bro LH&R to you and yours TGFNB UK

  • Well imo its a bit cat n dog....whilst I agree for medcal purposes, the problem is the NO SMOKING ban would limit yr choice,i.e.as you, know pain isnt always accomadating in its flare ups...so if one should be in an aera of no smioking...well !!!,tho saying that if it was in tablet form then fine....also that would be great for those trying to kick the habit...like me lol....YES I agree, and as the goverment like screwing you for money, then like the fags....revenue could be used bk into the NHS...

  • @Maladay They also have it in pill form and you can eat it also so no issues with the smoing ban Debs. Thanks for the imput xxxx

  • Legalize It...!!! Hey Dibbs,,,,pass along our respect to all our Biker Brothers in the UK from your Bikers Brothers in the US..!! Ride Fast & Free,,,Masterofce

  • @masterofce Thanks for the imput Brother. LH&R to you and yours TGFB UK

  • I lived in Holland for 5 years and used to visit the local coffee shops, i never once saw fights or trouble from those that went to them even thou they also sold beer in them. Pubs on the other hand are a different story, you only need to look at the news to see that. How often do you hear about deaths from the drug itself, unlike from beer, spirits, perscribed drugs, class A, i would rather see the use of weed rather than alcahol and only over 18s being able to use it.

  • @DanDarlekMan Hahahahaha i know ya did Dan, i visited you a couple times and enjoyed myself a great deal, as you know i owned a pub and have to agree on that issue too. H&R Bro

  • People who suffer with conditions such as yours, people with cancer and a host of other conditions that give great pain should be allowed to use it. Great topic choice Del.

  • @UKIPTURNCOAT Thanks for the comment Bro, H&R to you and the family

  • Hi

    Dibber...

For medicinal purposes,if it takes away the pain,I can see absolutely no reason it should not be prescribed.

    Pax,

    Max

  • @stewballmax3 Thanks for the imput Max, H&R to you Bro

  • For medical reason I think it Might be Okay.....even though I don't think I would use it for medical reasons...But that's me.....It a great Topic my Brother.....and I would love to see the responses you get......LH&R from Texas

  • @TheTexasConnection Thanks for taking part in this debate Brother LH&R TGFB UK
