Panorama - Paolo Remati 3.11.4 (Great Remo!!)

    WITHOUT ANY CHEATS!!!!!! ;)

    Super Cars 2 FOREVER!!!

  • jings, i could play this better than you when i was 10 :)

  • I remember using cheats for this, had to enter something like 'wonderland' and 'the seer' for cool stuff.

  • BEST GAME EVER!

ea is evil! we hate ea

  • I thought you could upgrade to better cars in this game, but maybe I'm thinking of some other game...

  • what was the Amiga game that was also a topdown racing game but there were night levels which were hard because you couldn't see much with just the headlights? does anyone know the name of that game? i've forgot it

  • @NukeCorruption Nitro

  • @cubex55 Fucking excellent game.

  • I loved the comedy RPG elements of this game, used to be in fits of laughter!

  • Btw people, if you are one of them who didnt get to experience the amiga in the early 90's or even in the 80's, you have missed some serious shitload of fun. I cant describe how much fun this game was at the time, it can not be compared to modern games today. Its not the same. Totally different era of fun.

  • that DAMNED train!

  • @TripleHoo to be a bit more exact, it's taken from Wagner's Götterdämmerung, it's in Siegfried's Funeral March...

    here: watch?v=L8wHteSOwW4#at=147

  • Many hours I spent playing this game. What a joy.

     Those were the days.

  • Always loved the music starting at 3.54

  • @TripleHoo

Its from some Wagner Opera - as the sample in the mod file is called Wagner.8svx ;)

  • I haven't seen this game for 20 years but i still remember all the tracks like i played it yesterday. If only modern games were this much fun.

  • Thanks for putting this video up. Has anyone done one of Super Cars International (PC)? That was essentially an update of Super Cars II

  • what a game this was. Along with Alien Breed, Lotus TC2 and Sensy Soccer, some of the best games ever made. They dont make them like they used to.......>Wasn't there a blue and white car that you could win (buy) as well???

  • That was a nice came. But I sucked at it in those days hehe

  • used to love this game

  • Used to love this game.. hmm was sure u could drop mines and shoot missiles tho..

  • what a game

  • This is one of my fav games of all time soooo much fun.

  • This one is classic! While handling was not so finetuned like in Lotus-series, pure funfactor of this carnage forgived it. Played this with friends countless of hours and wasted my precious youth. Was just fun using "Wonderland" "The Seer" cheats and get fully armed cars from second level. Then road was filled with roaming homing missiles and cleverly placed mines, like inside tunnels and jump ledges :-)

  • @Vimma75 The handling and game play was tweeked with Super Cars International on the PC - a Super Cars II update. Thanks for your kind comments - Andrew Morris

  • great game played this for hours

  • Best game ever released on the Amiga, I must have spent a million hours on this! Excellent!

  • "Enjoy the scenery" LOL! yeah its so varied

  • !!!!

  • i loved this game!!!

  • Love this intro, real sharp. Would like it on mp3 so you could burn it to a cd. It would be great music for my car stereo :oD

  • @Danish4ever77

Check our channel FAQ, theres download links for the music :)

  • whats the purple guy called with the orange outfit? the profile image from cubex55. I once played this game and forot the name. thanks in advance

  • @doedehoelahoep

It's from the "Globlins" games, a strange point'n'click french series.

Gobliins for Goblins 2, Gobliiins for Goblins 3 etc.

  • @EricBarbman

I already figured out =) but thank's anyway

  • I've paid my Poll Tax! Classic.

  • I could only ever shoot the normal missiles, what were the buttons for the rest?

  • You could only have 2 weapons at one time - fire+up & fire+down. You set them in the shop screen.

  • The Gremlin intro is so awesome :) best there is even today!

  • simpler days

  • This guy is using a cheat isn't he? the communication screens are working but the answers aren't flashing for him to choose one and he gets success everytime. thats crucial because most people who race well get tough people who try to fine them to hell

  • No cheats were used - its all the power of savestates :)

  • explain why in the communication screens that we cannot see the answers being selected. normally the answer highlighted is flashing. and if hes selecting answers he would have to move up and down to highlight the answer he picked.

this is never shown in your video. so unless you can explain that either you used a cheat or you have a flawed version of the game.

  • i downloaded this game for my winuae so dont think people are stupid ok? i completely easy first time. on medium if you try and be very aggressive and purchase loads of homing missles the game automatically makes it nearly impossible to win. beacuse all the other cars go out to destroy your car

  • @cubex55

Is the old cheat for Amiga to name Player 1 Wonderland and Player 2 The Seer still working for having ammo 99 on every kind of weapon? I found extremely fun during 2players at amiga's time when all circuits were overrun by homer or mines dropped when pursuers were too close or making the jumps to avoid attacks or crushing unfortunate players with death from above

  • lol he was ramming everyone away xDDD just great xD

  • GREAT game!

  • Does anybody know the classic song in the beginning? I searched for supercars II because I remembered this from childhood and want to know what it is!!!

  • Its "Siegfried's Funeral March" by Richard Wagner. Its part of the "Götterdämmerung" opera.

  • Nijel Mainsail, one of the true greats of our time

  • One of my best games on my amiga

  • I'm very curious as to what the RL name of "Crashhard Banger" is...

  • Gerhard Berger

  • Thanks! :)

  • i've got my amiga in proper condition and it's really fun to fire it up.. and of course play supercars. those we're the days ^^

  • This game was AWSOME back then! My brother and I played this, extreme violence, sensible soccer and Bubble Bobble WAY too much :-) Good times....

  • 1:03:50 onwards is hilarious. :D

  • @skateblind007 The cars are hugging in mid-air :)

  • One of my favourate games that ever appeared on the amiga. Simply amazing.

  • a full hour?? never seen that before

  • this was a very nice game indeed

  • i still have my amiga... i still get it out and play this game every now and again! wonder land and the seer??? does any body get me???? only the true supercars 2 fans will

  • Comment removed

  • I keep coming back to this game out of the hundreds on the amiga i love it .Now i have a mac and cant get it to run properly.

  • The last course is total madness!

Diagonal jumps and mid-air collisions make the course a hell!

I can't imagine how someone can finish first in this course.

  • Can anyone link to this MENU music for this? There's one on here but it is not right. IF you know your Amiga music you'll know what I mean. PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE FULL VERSION! :)

  • this is the best amiga game ever (with wanderboy, moonstone and stund car racer :D )

  • Look at 1:03:50 - 1:04:20 -> mega lol

  • @gluszkoc

And that is why god invented forward missiles :D

  • @gluszkoc YEEEAH!!!Hahahahahah,ROTFL!

  • Comment removed

  • AH

    Nostalgia!

But there was a one more bug too, if you were unlucky: One of the last tracks, the graphics wen't bad. And I had to drive almost blind.

I tested Supercars II on Amigaemulator, And.. It had the same problem. BAH! to hell with thiss. Let's play Hired GUNS!!!!

  • oh man i wana play this again but i cant get any of the amiga emulators to work!

  • The WinUAE which i use myself works really great, but it can be tricky to set up.

Try and get some premade setups for it by searching google. torrentsites etc.

Usually i use kick rom v. 1.2 or 1.3 as they seem most compatible for games like supercars and other classics.

To make the most compatible setup, aim for an A500, with no fancy ram expansion etc., just run it with the 1MB config (512KB fastmem and 512KB chipmen), emulate amiga 500 speed on cpu etc. :-)

  • That game reminds me of "Nitro" for Amiga...just a little bit...

  • Comment removed

  • how on earth did you manage tomake that video sooo long?§!

  • because the "amiga longplay" channel was created before the 10 min rule was introduced

  • we played it for hours as kids! i loved to plant bombs in tunnels so my buddy would just drive into them. :D

  • Man this game rocked!!!

Cubex55, you have made turn a 10 mins PC call, into a 2.30 hours Amiga flashback!

Thanks for the ultra great memories!!

    Peace out!

  • really a good game! it has mariokart-quality to it!

  • This game was amazing for the Amiga, and was probably the best top down drving games ever created!

Old Amiga and Sega games rule!

  • Wonderland

    The Seer

  • wow i loved this game!

  • Man, I was sooo bad at this game :( still, great music...

  • omg Thanks for bringing back this memory!! I used to play this for hours

  • i know the intro overture is from a classical piece by Wagner - can someone tell what its called??

  • "Götterdämmerung" or "Twilight of the Gods" in english.

  • thank you :)

  • In my opinion this is still among one of the best top-down view racing games ever created. Shaun Southern and Andrew Morris really knew how to create good games for the Amiga. The Lotus games were great also. There was a bit of financial strategy in this game too - where items would change price so you'd buy heaps of the Super and Homing missiles when they were cheap and sell them off when they got expensive. Alot of my childhood years went on this game also.

  • And I forgot to add, the sound effects for the game were good and the title and menu music were awesome.

  • Very good game, only problem is there is a very slight delay from when you press the button to when the car reacts. Didn't even notice until I played the first one, where this problem is not present.

  • Great game, though unlike most I preferred the first Supercars.

You can really see the links with this and the Lotus games. It sounds as if Gremlin/Magnetic Fields re-used the sound effects for the Lotus Challenges.

  • ahh nice wagner intro! :) loved this game

  • Joistick killer game :)but favorited game for amiga

  • Oh, just realised that because i halved the frame rate the flashing answers on the communication screens don't show. So you won't know what I picked.

  • 4:45 from the Zelda cartoon. Good humor in this game.

  • You mean the Zelda CDI game. That game wasn't out yet at the time of this game.

  • Nope, I mean the cartoon from 1989. This game was realesed in the 90s era.

From wikipedia: Link usually met Zelda's obstinate rejection with his trademark sarcastic catchphrase, "Well! Excuuuuuse me, Princess!"

  • Magnetic Fields 4 ever!!!

  • WTF? 1:06:43!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so that's where the sound of Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 came from!

  • This game is just fucking awesome!!

  • i loved this game. brings back memories.

  • i played this game to death and actually finished it :)amazing game

  • this game has sound effects from lotus esprit turbo challenge?

  • can you dload this anywhere??

  • yes, james, read my bit to reply to cubex55. do a google search for supercars 3

  • does anyone know where i can get the intro music from? i have the music from when you select what race level and names etc but not the actual beginning tune. apprently its Wagner (i read on the net) but dunno where to get it. any ideas?

  • Try amigamusic, com or exotica, org,uk for the music in the original amiga format, but to play that, you might need deliplayer, com

  • Cheers Cube, i have the 'magnetic fields' intro bit and the player/level select music as mp3 but not the music you get just after, where harrison ford appeas.

i do have supercars off the net though as if you look for 'supercars 3' on google and its goes to a page thats black background and get it there.

  • Wow, this must be my all time Amiga favorite, and as someone said, the theme-music is simply amazing..!

  • Happy memories, thanks!

  • I wish Electro Brain released this game on Super Nintendo like they did with Super Cars 1 for NES.

  • love this game..... played alot!!!

    echt veel ja.....lol

  • You played this online? Do you play it with an emulator on your pc or something? I just figured you played your amiga through your video/dvd recorder and recorded it or something.?

  • am i the only person who got SCARED TO DEATH of that magnetic fields intro as a kid? it still scares the hell outta me now XD

  • This one's a classic. The menu music kicks ass!

  • god i used to love this!!!

  • oh the memories. this was fantastic in 2 player. i wish they got it out on the PC. or even one of those tv plug & play things. I bought a plug & play SWOS the other day. great fun!

  • There is:

    Search for SuperCars International

Or have a look for the remake

    SuperCars 3

  • So satisfying to use those rockets against a friend.

  • if only you had some

  • Thank you for posting this man! Brought a smile to my face remembering the hours I used to spend on my Amiga500 trying to beat this game. You're a champ.

  • brilliant game great post man, tryna did the amiga out the shed again lol

DAMN I LOVE THE MUSIC !!!

  • Great game, brings back good memories =)

  • i loved this game although i usually got owned by my bro=)

  • lol, i just noticed that when on the com screens the text isnt highlighted on the video for some reason, So you cant see what answer i pick D:

  • great game, thanks for the video, i hope it is played on hard? my version had bad graphical errors in the later levels which made it very difficult to win, since you couldn't see where the bounds were and where you were supposed to drive. Thanks again, seb

  • Yeah i had the same thing. Excellent game though

  • Excellent vid:) Thanks for posting this!

One of the greatest games ever! Givin' me alot of good times :D
