Kapoors including Anil kapoor are pathans of Peshawar. Their ancestral house is next to ours and their converted family left in peshawar is married in our family.

The blue eyes and white skin mutation happened in areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan ! .Even Kashmiris are genetically link with Pathans. Pathans, Turks, persian dynasties ruled over region presently known as India that is why u can find few light sknnned and colored eyes people there.

My father, much of his family, and myself have blue or gray eyes. My family is Jat Punjabi. They've lived on the same land for hundreds of years. &, *shockingly*, our ancestors aren't Pathan & don't hail from Peshawar. All of the comments you have posted regarding punjabis & pathans are gross generalizations, obviously intended to feed your pathan ego.

2) WTH cares about who Kashmiris are genetically linked to? That has nothing to do with the Kapoor family.

3) NO culture on earth is geneticely homogenous and "pure." Genetic mixing, even in the Indian population, has been occuring for millenia. While Pathans/Turks/ Persians did indeed rule over "X" percentage of India, so did the Greeks, Huns, British etc. These traits, in many Indians, can just as easily be derived from a mix of these genes and inherent genetic mutations.

Punjuabis might be pretty and light skinned people in India but for pakistan which is at the north of North India, Punjabis are dark skinned. The light skin are pathans, kashmiris and Baloach. Four provinces of pakistan are :

Punjab

Pakhtoonkhawa

Baluchistan

Sindh

@IamDon9999 Thanks for the geography lesson, but I'm completely aware of the provinces in Pakistan & the fact that a "colour gradient" exists across South Asia. As a whole, Kashmiris etc. are definitely lighter skinned than most Indians and Punjabis.
