  • what's the name of the song? :D

  • haha, i have my bass peak sitting on 35 hz lol. 8'' sub in a bandpass box. Loads of port noise from that logitech sub

  • what is the point to have that at home or have it at all?

if the speakers are good for what you need this money waste ?

  • Put it in a car, I bet you it'll sound 2x louder...I've done it and it sounds amazing LOL

  • Good video. Showed something technical.

  • Most speakers put out 90db with 1 watt @ 1 meter. It usually adds 3db per double in power. ex. 2 watts = 93db, 4 watts = 96db, etc. this changes later but that's the guideline

  • the reason why it rolls off below 30Hz is because the enclosure is tuned to 42-43hz and the subsonic filter is set at 30Hz. That's the reason why it's rolling off so badly

  • the decibells on logitech z-2300 isnt the same on for all. in some corners / rooms it will change hz and output of db, like mine, my sub in my room with only concrete walls and it's not big my room but not small either. im pretty sure i make 130 dB or more on 50hz because ive been in a car that makes over 140 db and its not so far from that sound output, and i had my sub at my friends place there i got 30-35 hz tuning and im sure it made 120 dB because it was pounding hard at that low

  • the sub of this system is amazing , i would recommend everyone to buy one like this!!!

  • mine z-2300 makes dBs thats starting to hurt my ears so loud is mines =)

  • owh really shit 105 dB?

  • @DjDarius889 its not about the dB its about the quality! Good luck listening to your shitty quality limewire music with some wallmart speakers noob.

  • @DjDarius889 Have you even heard 105dBs of bass in your life? xD Fucking kid get a life

  • @Ricardo1e93 the higher spl in the corners of the room are cause the dead bass reboting into a room...is not the real bass the real bass you can hear it just in the middle of a room!! and for a better sound you must to hace a carpet and some pics in the walls to avoid dead sound and have a cleaner sound

  • It´s clear to see that it´s a logitech z 5500 crab subwoofer :D

  • Just ask him!I have the z-2300 but it's not clear if it's z-2300 or z-550

  • The sound is from z5500 sub

I have the z2300 and a frend has the z5500 and I know the difference,, the sound is from z5500

  • hahahahha ure high man u cant hear the difference in a video microphone isnt the same as real life

  • i think that this is the woofer from z-5500, because you can se woofer at 0:17 and it is not z-2300(i have them so i know how subwoofer looks)

  • Comment removed

  • i think he got the z2300 on the top of

    z5500

  • how do you hit all the really low frequencies? my sub cuts off at 35 hz and wont hit anything beneath that... btw by sub i mean my z-2300 system

  • my z2300 take 30 realy good but 25 it shitty

  • i saw this one guy play bass i love you on his, and his sub took the 12 hz type stuff perfectly

  • -.-'

  • what?

  • volume?

  • Lol i went to a local shop to listen these today.. They were good :o I thought they would be like shit but no, i would even buy that.

  • that thing is pretty shit it rolls off really bad

  • Haha, not bad for $100 though.

  • fair enuf

  • @iloveaxxo I agree sir

  • is this meter for ghost hunting or for sound testing

  • schosche is an audio manufacturer. so there you go

  • lol

  • please song name :)

    nice video xD

  • Watch my video response :) Testing the volume of my z-2300

  • wot is the price of spl metar

  • wot is the price of propar gramar

  • LMAO!

  • Comment removed

  • In real life, that is how they test for spl (i think), 1 meter in front of the woofer. Yes, it is a bit of a deadspot, but eliminates variables in the setup.

  • never mind found it! :D

  • Any clue on the program that was used to generate the tones of varying frequencies?

  • it was z2300..

  • you fail - it is Z-2300 indeed

  • does having it at full volume make any diference caus at just over half mine doesnt seem to go much louder.

  • It should, but with this system, anything beyond 50% is distortion.

  • @logitechsubs I have to disagree with that.

I put mine up to 75% all the time (100% bass), and don't get ANY distortion.

Above 75% on SOME songs, it is quite distorted - but still not nearly enough to make you not want to take it that high.

  • i have 2 subs vibe 15` and a powerplant sony who reach 5200watts rms....i did`n test it but my windows house is down :))

  • i playing about 90 to 95 dB with my z-4 and x-530.

  • great im buying it foscho now ;)

  • this video sold me on the z2300

  • shitty.

i got a RE 8" sub for my computer. quit wasting money on logitech and get a real driver.

    mine hits 120Hz

  • LOL, I wish i could, but no dealers around here. Mine can play 120hz too:P And if u meant 120 db, yes, the Z-2300 can do it, watch my other videos about the SPL tests, with the new meter. Thanks.

  • shut the fuck up. people like you should be banned from youtube. no one asked for your opinion.

  • That was great! But *meh* at 20 Hz

  • LOL

  • This could also be due to the freq response of the dB meter, as most meters don't go down much further than 30Hz...

  • in Bosnia and Herzegovina they cost 270 dollars. be happy with your prices!

  • $62US in New Zealand

  • hey logitech subs, ur vids are swesome and now i feel that its getting very tempting to get it. thank you so much for helping me with my decision, i was gonna go with the z 5300e, the z 2300 is much better eh? in terms of what?

  • Thanks, I would day in terms of SQ and bass overall. btw, the Z-5300e are discontinued.

  • whould should i get a bose companion 3 or a logitech z-2300

  • Z-2300...bose is way over-priced.

  • the bose companion 3 is 250

  • Z-2300 is $90 if you know where to buy. I can get the Z-5500 for $300.

  • where did you buy yours if i get a z-2300 im going to get it from bestbuy for 150 so i dont have to wait for shipping

  • You can get em at tiger direct for $90.

  • for 85

  • 90 in Canada :P

  • 649 in brazil! :B

  • Get a Z-2300 for sure.. I have it aswell and I must say the bass is impressive.

  • its pretty obvious that your sub plays higher bass pretty well, so im guessing it hits pretty hard when you play something that kicks, right?

  • Yea

  • Is your camera a Canon S5IS? Cause I noticed the lens cap looked a lot like one

Just curios. Nice setup btw :D

  • Haha, nope, its an actual camcorder, Samsung SC MX10, I have a video review of it. Check it out sometime:D

  • hey, thats the z2300 remote but thats not the z2300 sub, its looks more like the 10inch z5500 sub...

  • I have both systems...xD

  • Haha stupido! Maaan you were so precise with 1 meter and so imprecise in the all other things. Read about halfspace... Measuring it inside a room in COMPLETELY POINTLESS... Try to do the same is silent garden outside, you'll see the difference ;))))

  • Woah!!! Thats cool and interesting.

    Thanks for uploading!

  • Thanks for watching and subscribing!

  • videos over 1 bitrate can make the video quality higher..lol i made it high quality and this video looks awesome.

  • thats cool

  • wary nice :D

    - Thanks

  • did you steal my song?

or did send it to you? lol

  • Yeah, I really need a Z-2300 system. I currently hit 92dB at 63hz in a small room...

  • You got an SPL meter?

  • no, I based that off measurements found on the website for the Z-3 system.

    maybe I should get one

  • * A website, not the logitech one!

  • You should get one:D

  • is it really worth it?

i might get one when i get the z-2300

i'd love to see someone swap the z-2300 driver with the tangband 8" neo... trouble is its 4 ohms not 8 ohms

  • you know those meters are absolutely terrible right?

  • Haha, yes but what can ya do? lol Its better than nothing :P

  • krannyman, patrick is just tryin to get the estimated dB for his systems. Now i have to research if that boomstick underrates or overrates the dB. this dude got 120dB out of it and did a TL 140dB.. I am probably hitting 126dB at my desk area

  • Very nice

  • Yeah, I really need a Z-2300 system. I currently hit 92dB at 63hz in a small room...

  • Oh come on don't measure such high frequency lol. patrick is going to find out if he can hit 125dB with two Z-5500s or 3/4 volume...

  • 63hz is my peak frequency

    sad i know

  • oh yeah I hit 120dB at 43hZ

  • yeah i know, its so annoying for me!
