  • when i do the side crouch(either one) do i have to pull like normal crounch or do i pull my head off the floor a little to the left?

  • I have the dvd for this workout and have used it for going on 6 yrs and it's amazing what 8 mins a fay will do, well times 4 because I do the abs,arms,butt, and legs! My husband is always commenting on how toned my arms look. I see the most definitian in my arms. I use 8lb weights.

  • @the1337fleet try focusing on using your shoulders when you pull up in your crunches. It will release some of the tension in your neck and you will be able to feel the workout more In your abs.

  • My neck muscles get tired faster than my abs when I do abdominal exercises. It's always been that way. I tried letting my head hang so that I don't bring my head up (and flexing my neck muscles in the process), but my neck still gets a workout. Any tips or tricks on not letting my neck do so much work?

  • @the1337fleet with progress your neck muscles will get stronger and eventually, you'll get used to it, still, for me it helped to look at a specific spot in the celing, even when I went up, try that maybe that'll help

  • Okay, I've been doing this and its not working. Some days when I do it I feel the burn in my abs while other times I dont feel much of anything. Plus, shouldn't my stomach feel sore or tight the next day after doing this?? I heard if you have fat on your stomach then these won't work but I only have a small pouch, I'm very skinny and I dont over eat. Any advice please??

  • @cutema101 Do you concentrate on your abs when you do this workout? Like, not just going through the motions moving with your back and arms but with your abdominals?

  • @sketzartist For the most part I do, I even started doing this twice a day and I hardly feel anything as I did before.

  • @cutema101 I can't think of anything :p Cause it's weird, it doesn't make any sense. You're skinny and you have the strength to do it twice a day but you don't see your abs. Or I misinterpreted right? is it you can see your abs but you just want to feel that burn like before?

  • @sketzartist I see the top part of my abs slightly starting to form. Doesn't the burn mean the exercise is working your abs .. usually when I do ab workouts I feel a tightness the next morning and I dont feel that at all anymore. Does that mean my body has become use to this routine and is not as effective?

  • @cutema101 True. I think you have to modify your ab workouts to fit your needs at this point then. To train longer and/or add different ab exercises. I dunno, I don't think I'm the right person to give advice on this stuff though. Out of curiosity, how long have you been doing this work out for?

  • @cutema101 Other forms of exercise help too. Like I run every day and I have a pretty good core even though I don't do these types of workouts often. You won't necessarily be sore the next day. Just keep working at it.

  • @cutema101 you should be moving your body with your abs, like move your body to but flex your abs while doing the exercises. That should solve the problem, cuz if ur not flexing and pulling yourself with your abs then your using your back muscles and thats not very good for your back.

  • @Br00kieday ab workouts aren't a great fat burner. They strengthen your abs but fat sits on top of the abdomen so to really get your abs showing u should do cardio or high intensity workouts involving legs

  • this seriously works..... after a couple weeks my abs looked as if i were constantly flexing them when i really wasnt. haha ppl would tell me to stop flexing even though i wasnt. also try to do 20-50 pushups after this; it actually makes ur abs look more defined after the workout

  • @nothin2lose187 I had the same problem but I fixed it by using a big neck pillow so my neck barely has to lift my head. It might take away from the ab exercise a little bit because your body starts slightly higher up, but this workout still works great for me and my neck doesn't hurt at all.

  • @we891023 Actually, you can and should work your core every day. Other muscles need more time to recover but your abs can take this once a day.

  • @KingBowserVlog it might work for the 3 weeks or so. after that you'll reach a plateau and you'll need to look for a different workout. or you can use weights with the classic 'mixing up the routine'. you to need to confuse your muscles every-now-and-then

  • @Amordesuvida07 you should cut off all sugary drinks and greasy foods chicke with out skin is great any type of vegetables and fruits are great too and i recommend a little jogging with a hoody and sweat pants

    no you wont, this will strengthen your abdominal muscles. Diet and cardio will shred weight revealing said strengthened abs.

  • @SirBurgundy I would like to say I am a beginner at working out my abs but I am already fit with a body fat percent of 10.47 my abs are nit defined what so ever and my diet consists of mostly chicken fiber protein like eggs and fish and lots of water, do you still think I will see results by my deadline??

  • @VersatileGamingFile no then you dont give your abs time to recover i do this once a day but i have a high protein diet which helps muscle recovery, if your a beginner do it once every 2 days

  • I've been doing this for a month and a half now and I can see that I burnt the upper part of my abs, the lower part is the most difficult one, but these workout abs are pure gold if you apply them correctly, both physically and mentally :D. Try it !!!!!!

  • it works but u gotta commit to it n eat right I saw huge improvement in the 1st month but then I stoped and didnt eat right and lost the results

  • Guys do this and run 3-5 miles a day and throw in some weightlifting trust me I did this and went from 180 to 145 in 2 months with a pretty awesome body.

  • @bcastellon818 I slowly changed my diet to something i can still enjoy oatmeal and fruits for breakfast a salad for lunch and whatever for dinner but i ate small and some protein shakes, the reality is you can eat whatever but you have to watch your calories. Still I'd recommend eating alot of fruit and vegetables because there filling and low on calories plus some of them taste good. And if at all possible dont eat at fast food places and try to give up soda that can make a very big difference

  • @ImDeadTo doing ab workouts doesnt burn fat, it only builds more muscle under the fat, still invisible. To burn fat, you need to do more workouts that involve many reps and high cardio.

    Thats how u hurt urself. U need patience. U get a 6 pack by running, jump ropes and calastenics. U get that 6 pack harder and bigger packs by doin this 1s a day. Im a runner and i do this 1s a day. I have an 8 pack.

  • @ScenesterWHAT555 this is my take. if you do these properly, and aim more for form rather than the AMOUNT you do, then you should feel super fuckin sore the next day. simple as that. dont just "do" them, but make sure you're hitting every single rep. HARD. if u can do these again the next day, then either you didnt try hard enough the day before, or your recovery is super fast. trust me. your body will let you know how often u can do this.

  • @shinunotenshi if you feel pain in the neck youre doing it wrong, try to use you abs to pull up. The principles of yoga include inhaling to relax and exhale to relieve tension. I wonder if this helps.

  • @tomast1234 it works! i did it for a few months, and i saw results. my abs started to look faltter, and have some definition. it just used to to be one big slab. i did this every other day for almost a year, and i was really happy with the results. then i got lazy and stopped. now im fat again lol. so im starting to do it again

  • @monsterFISH94 Hold your head up with your hands. Also you can stop the exercise for a few seconds and just relax your neck. It will get better when you are used to the excercise also :)
