  • This has to be the most baked out song I've heard!!!

  • For some reason this song always reminds me of the changing of the seasons.

  • I only just discovered these guys, and I love them! It's like Alisha's Attic mixed with Crystal Castles and J-pop.^_^

  • straight hits of the white widow

  • I love this song. Oh, and stop arguing about the music theory.

  • Waiiit, did I hear that right? "Then they let us go to hunt us down again" ?

Why do all the songs I like turn out to be depressing or downright creepy? D:

  • @WhiteMageMentality LMFAO. IKR. Hahahaha xD

  • I lost this album many years ago and still dont feel right not having it in my life. But It just means I can buy this at the same time as getting their other works! Win win people.

  • Feels like running through dungeons in Zelda :)

  • What makes a song good is how much you love it and not its techniquality!

  • Great i like it...thanks

  • God i love this song

  • god i love it too

  • it was done and this and that its easy---thenmake something better and ead me 2 your video----until then shut up

  • the beats are fucking simple, its hardly done by a real drummer is it. \it is synths and layered beats...easy

  • its in 4/4.

    at :40 they add triplets.

  • This is very bad quality get the real version it sounds so much better.

  • There's an eeriness in her voice ... like this was sung to summon some kind of dark spirit from the abyss.

  • 4\4

  • I'd like to see someone try to dance to this if they think it's in 3/4. It would be hilarious to see someone attempt it - they'd look like a fool.

Someone tell me how anyone can possibly believe it's in 3/4 when the driving bass line switches notes every 4 notes? Are you mentally ill? Basic music theory. Why are we even having this discussion?

  • @thesairj coz some people cant count beats properly

  • very cool

  • Strangely pretty song.

  • the beats are obviously influenced by Crass

  • outstanding

  • it's 4/4 and everyone that can't keep count needs to learn how to dance. omg what's an upbeat? what's a downbeat? rookies.

  • this song is awesome i cant stop listening to it!

  • This band is amazing!

  • seriously...this band is fucking amazing!!!!

  • 6/8!!!!!!!! six eight!!!

  • Everyone who said its in 3/4 was right cause its split into groups of three,

Everyone who its in 4/4 was right because those groups of three are split into groups of four

Thus, Dinks was most right for saying it was in 12/8.

I love it when everyone is right.

ps everyone who said this song is great was quite right.

  • Ahr Ahr Ahr, it happens all the time, people all basically says the same thing but arguing about it.

  • @monkeyscircus God bless the peace maker, Monkey. ;p

  • @monkeyscircus Actually, wouldn't it be 4/4 with triplets throughout?:D

  • @Kainlarsen or 3/4 with irregular quadruplets throughout!

...or even better, really fast one beat bars!!

  • @yari234

    <3

  • Really? Who cares!? Its a great song! =)

  • just lissen to the drums.. its 4/4

  • Will people stop arguing about the beats? It's a little retarded.

  • it was cold

  • The sheet music is in 4/4. Problem solved.

  • 2/4 like a ticking clock. it´s only 1-2 1-2 1-2

    ;)

  • Sounds like 4/4 definitely...

    boom, boom, boom, boom

    boom, boom, boom, boom

    boom, boom, boom, boom

    boom, boom, boom, boom

    ?

  • definately in 3/4. you can think of it in 4/4 because there are things that point to that like the bass line, but it makes a lot more sense to count it as 3/4

just try, count 123.123.... and then try 1234,1234....

the 123 is much more natural

  • Im still not sure If I agree with you but we can leave it at this.

  • You are kinda right on both point..it is in 12/8 time. So twelve quavers to a bar in four groups of three.

  • If you want to split the quarter into three equal parts: that is the triplet.

it's in normal 4/4(four quarters) but that sizzy noise plays triplets. Those just triplets my friends.

Forexample: from2:25 till 2:41 the bells stop playing triplets, and starts to play new moments with a 4/4 density. its in 4/4 with lots of triplets.

  • Great Track! Other good ones include 'Silent shout' 'kino' 'you make me like charity' 'heartbeats' There are too many to list. Definitely my fave band. Jag alskar The knife!

  • I was depressed for a while cuz I didn't have anything good to listen to, then I came aross the knife, and feel petter, then feel upon fever ray, and feel super fantasic!

  • <3!

  • so cool to hear an electro song in 3/4

  • I love this song too. But Im pretty sure it is in 4/4.

  • I love this, its beautiful. Their style is so unique. Luff @ The Knife. <3~

  • I wish I could meet The Knife. I would love to pick their brains.

  • Beautyfull....

  • oh, Yeah!

  • <3 love this

  • this is beautiful and tragic... like much scandi culture!

  • geillllll...big up.......ich will das haben meldet euch .......danke
