Kawasaki has really captured something the other manufacturers have over looked and that is the starter rider. I remember when I was young and couldn't afford or qualify for credit this would have been the bike for me. Young riders have the balls to try and if they miss the window most dont make it back at 45. Kaw understands that.
This is the perfect starters bike. Its not quick like they say but it is very reliable and cheap to maintain. It has a good riding stance and looks sweet. in my country its mandatory to ride a 250 before getting your full license so this is a common choice.
is there a big change in say.. 08-10? i'm guessing by the time you get away with this at the dealer you're at 5k? 08's on craigslist go for about 3000, including what they upgraded. worth it?
@BrandonPresents The only big change from the 2009 to the 2010, as far as I know, is the exhaust: it's now black instead of silver. Apart from the color, it looks the same, though, so I don't know if it sounds any better.
idk for around $4,500 you could get an older CBR F4I.i think the price raise this and last year were a little much for the little ninja. also $10,700 for a 600!?!?!? Dang.....
Be glad for $10,700 for 600 in America. Because, in Czech rep. (central Europe), the normal price is $15,679 for 600 09'. And it is not any better in any state around...I will be jumping like a flea, if it will be $5,000 cheaper in here. =-D
Yeah, I believe you, and I haven't said I am not happy with our costs, but little disapointed still. But in comparison to your price, we are still in "heaven" I see. Thanx for info anyway, I don't envy your situation. :-(

Very nice colour combination...
BUT, god damn, redesign the rear fender, make the exhaust a little bit minimalistic and give it digital clock instead of that 70's analog.
