i have a 8cm piranha alone in a tank, i had a goldfish in the same tank, he endured 24 hours then i took it out, they had the same size but the piranha has serrilhated teeth, wen i took the gold fish out he had lost one of the swimers of the chest and had a hole in the lower jaw, but he alwais was harassing the piranha, she is always quiet because shes lonely, the damage in the goldfish was done in a few hours at night and in the morning i removed the fish from that tank and is recovering well.
