  • i have an old 1917 antique typewriter that's recently been repaired and for the life of me i can't find anything on how to put paper into it :/

  • You sound like Seth Rogen. Awesome.

  • @TheEuropeanChef dude im with u im getting a manual Royal Traveler II tomorrow for my birthday

  • Nice, but I like the manual ones better

  • Nice! How old is this typewriter? Circa 90's maybe?

By the way, I pulled down the little tab thing to see what other videos you have, and I noticed your Vic Mignogna at ACen videos, which I think is awesome because a) I love Vic Mignogna and b) I go to ACen when it comes around! Yeah, just felt like saying that... :)

  • or you can look around a thrift store, thats where i got mine

  • Hello, I'm having problems with my Brother Sx-4000. I just bought this about 3 days ago. I have it running and all, but when i begin to type things (ex: when I punch in "T" the typewriter types "S"). Please may you help me with this if you can figure it out. Thank you very much.

  • Cool!!!!! Does it write random words or do you do something?

    Like the tape!!!!!!!

  • its a ghost... and its speaking to us... :P

  • Thanks! I'm thinking of buying this machine. Nice to see a demo of it.

  • Just bought the european version of the machine:

First had Problems with paper transport and the second one wrote totally wrong letters after a short while.

I hope i will get satisfaction with the third one^^

Well, in Germany you say all good things are three.

Are you still using your Sx-4000?

    Regards

  • As a matter of fact, I am. It's still pretty useful, great for writing letters.

  • i saw a nice smith-corona at a garage sale last summer...i was a few cents short so i headed back to my house to get the money but i was lost and so tired from hauling around the suburban maze i live in with a backpack full of loot on my bike i just ended up passing out on the sofa instead...I wish i could have gotten it, but i had ended up forgetting where the old lady lived.

  • It's been about 20 years (around 1990) since the typewriter fell out of the mainstream. Definately something you should hold on to with it's retro appeal.

  • I just bought a new one.. need help running.

  • can i use the noise in the video in my video project ? please

  • lmao thats what im using it for

  • Yeh - who needs a point!? Isn't THAT a point?

  • wastes a lot of ink for a demonstration

i had a brother AX-18 and it did the same thing

    i still love electronic typewriters

  • the IBM Wheelwriter series types faster than the Brother typewriters

  • uhh... how do you get it to type like 1 word in less than a second???

  • thats a demo...the machine its the one typing

  • m a g n i f i c e n t

  • ooo i need this noise for my movie presentation. this is 100% not useless thanks!

  • You're welcome to it.

  • what is the point of this? (not trying to be a dick) just curious

  • Eh, just felt like gettn' this thing out on the web.

  • @BigErik1984 how to you put the paper in and how do you get it to be 1" margins? please help
