  • muslim women are diamonds they not on show like the hookers in the west

  • @SALAFIMEDIAUK But she wears make-up, which is not hallal.

  • @mircal80 make up is allowed

  • Wearing the burqa is no greater barrier to establishing relationships than wearing a headset connected to an iPod.

  • It is PUBLIC INDECENCY and CHILD ABUSE for any to witness a woman to walk around drunk with a mini skirt upto half her buttocks and 60% exposure of her breasts

  • What has happened to the word woman and women, these burka women will never be ladies, look up the word in the Oxford dictionary

  • Eva Cox should wear the full catastrophy of a burka - and perhaps a muzzle too, to spare us the sight and the sound of her.

  • Eva Cox thinks that coincidentally,Muslim Women choose to wear the burqa en masse. With 'feminists' like Cox doing the talking for you,who needs enemies?

  • what if i want to walk around naked or in a ski mask and black tracksuit?

  • The muslims are welcome to come to Australia - when they stop persecuting christians in the muslim majority lands. Until that time comes they are not welcome.

  • @oxopig

Why dont you go back to Europe and leave Australia to the aborigines?

  • Comment removed

  • @oxopig Australia is is the imheritance of the Aborignis. You are a guest who then became an occupier. Get out back to Britain

  • @oxopig A lot of "jews" in Israel have no respect for christian visitors and verbally attack them and then theres the ever lasting slow genocide of muslims in Palestine and the gaza strip. Do you think jews should not be welcome either?

  • the burkah is only a security threat cos government propaganda is working wonders on you all.

  • Dress codes are nothing new. Where were Susan and Eva when arrests of nude swimmers were made in recent times? Isn't the extension of their position that nudity should also be permitted? In the West our dress code is incredible broad, and when a line is drawn at one sex hiding themselves in public places, even their faces, that is an extreme which understandably is disturbing as it's associated as treated women as chattells. It takes us back earlier than the 1800s with piano leg covers required

  • Interesting point. Mohammed was a young man who read what was available at the time - the Christian bible. That itself was a mess of a thing with the violent mysogynistic god of the old testament incongrously retained in the Old Testament - he was a Jewish invention this nasty god - alongside the peaceful, egalitarian god of Jesus represented in the New Testament. • @cohenspetrified (continuing from a second ago) and used that to base his 'new' religion' of Islam. The whole obsession with hidden women and long beards originates in the Jewish religion, which mostly threw it away as they became more civilised.

  • A burqa has nothing to do with Islam.

It predates the birth of Muhammed by several hundred years and was a popular mode of dress for women in many non-Islamic societies in Classical Antiquity such as Zoroastrian Persia and the upper-class women of the Greek Byzantine Empire.

Because Islam was initially adopted and spread by Arabs, it absorbed an enormous amount of pre-Islamic Arabian/Bedouin tribal traditions and rites that in actuality has nothing to do with Islam (e.g stonings as punishment)

  • @omglollmao123 You can't force your personal opinions or choice on any women. Whether women wish to cover their face or not for whatever reason(s) it's their choice, and their choice alone.

  • @DaughterOfAsena Easy there Feminazi, I was merely pointing out an indisputable fact of history.

The Burqa is not canonical nor mandated by the Quran nor even present in the Hadiths, which are first-hand accounts of the life and times of Muhammed.

No need to hijack this debate as a vehicle for your some axe you have to grind with men.

A Muslim wearing a Burqa would be akin to a Christian wearing nothing but a shepard's robes.

Sure, it may look puritanical but it's not required

  • @DaughterOfAsena I prefer nude bathing nature being my religion and I have never been allowed to inflict my extreme dress code on the public. Nor should Burkha wearers.

  • @omglollmao123 Interesting point. Mohammed liked the Jewish inspired violent, mysogynstic god the of old testament for his quran.

  • "then... get over it!" says the stupid muslim tart!

yeah, wear a veil into a fucking airport, leave a bomb there and no need to worry about facial recognitian!

go into a store with a veil and pull a gun out and kill some people, no facial identification because you have a veil!

speeding? the cops can't check your I.D so you get off scot free because you have a veil!

muslims only want to keep the veil so they can get away with shit and go about their terrorism more easily.

  • @Mikeybetts You want to force Muslim women to take off all forms of veil, not the face cover only. Get over it.

  • @DaughterOfAsena

i want them to remove all forms of veil in

airports, stores, government buildings and schools, they can still wear the burka in my view, just not the veil!

its called a "security concern" because the people cannot be identified if they have a veil on.

  • @Mikeybetts perhaps, but it's still gonna make this a contrversial issue.

  • The right to dress as one likes, within reason, is a given in aussie culture. Why even waste air time on it. I think the real issue is whether the dress is being used to achieve a political goal to insinuate the totalitarian ideology of Islam into Australian culture.

  • ARABS move from Alfghanistan, Iraq, Persia and A SHIT LOAD of other countries to come to Australia because they love the freedoms Australia has to offer, yet they bring the very religious practices they've escaped from. IF Australia becomes a Muslim Country, where the F***CK will Arabs move to next? The F****KING MOON ??? Take of the stupid burqa or move the F***UCK to wherever the hell you came from !

  • @NewYearAustralia2009 If AUstralia becomes a Muslim country...

hey buddy - you do know that Muslims make up 1.5% of Australia's population? I think you are safe

  • I think your confusing ARABS with MUSLIMS. Arabs are a minority group in Islam constituting only 15-20%. Some escape their countries not because of religious practices, but because of Injustices by secular and titanically governments. do you not watch the news. In fact most Muslims wish they had an Islamic government. And that's why they are voting for one in the first fair elections. What about the indigenous or white Aussies that embrace Islam, are you going to kickemout

  • @haytam112211 .lol you liar.no islamic country in the world has a secular goverment fool, not even one. the closest they cometo is maybe turkey and egypt but theyre hardly secular.saudi arabia is the closet thing to full islamic law.lol whata wonderful place.but httas isnt the issue. that would be like westerners moving to muslim cluntires in million=s,enforinc g their culture on to the population.what would the muslim do\?

  • @M10663 Arabs are a minority in Muslim population. Most Muslims don't speak Arabic and don't know Arabic culture like you don't. Nevertheless, Christian Arabs, Muslims Arabs and Jewish Arabs have same culture and are entitled to it.

  • @M10663 Also Western Muslims like myself wouldn't be threatened by Middle Eastern Christian-Jewish-Muslim Arabic culture because they're people too.

  • @NewYearAustralia2009 Arabs are a Muslim minority and they have share similiar culture with Middle Eastern Christians and Jews. Muslim population in Australia is less than 2% and Arabs (Christian-Muslim-Jew) are even less. You should be afraid of Christians like yourself who want ethnic Aussies to leave the country.

  • yeah bitches your third class citizens

  • Silly old feminist defending Islam, and silly young feminist looking for,and finding, attention.Serious issues are reduced to feminist nonsense.

  • @henryporter101 Yeah Eva Cox is no feminist but a patriarchal PC stooge. Susan who wears the hajib is obviously not that bright to seriously believe their quran was written by god and not the mysogynst man Mohammed. Feminists are not allowed to be heard unless they toe the patriarchal line.

  • i feel sorry for that poor old man ahahahah

  • i like whos wearin that burqa a.k.a hijjab .

  • Eva Cox and Susan Carland are both Champagne Socialist idiots who are seriously out of touch with Middle Australia. This is primarily why I and most Australians with half a brain dont watch anything on the ABC or even at times acknowledge it's existence, the entire network wrecks of left wing, pinko bias. You never, ever see a Conservative or a right-winger positively represented. It's Australia's left wing version of Fox News, unfair and unbalanced.

  • @slayerlover222 well said!

  • What about Susan's parents and maybe siblings who are not muslim? According to Islam, they are non-believers and will go to hell right? Will she try to convert them? This is off topic, but the underlying issue is religion.

  • @drunkensteiin According to your religious Law will Susan and all Muslims go to hell? What does your religions laws, church and your parents say?

  • @DaughterOfAsena

Science is my God. I'm an Atheist/Agnostic/Humanist.

  • Imagine everybody on earth covered their face... come on now. Everyone from boys, girls, women and men... absurd.

  • Wow, I am just as guilty as the people who have prejudice views on Islam, as I had a prejudice view about Australians, I didn't know you were so open minded and liberal, well at least the ones on this show are. I feel ashamed but you Aussies should be proud!

  • If she wants to wear a Niqab, why not move to a Muslim country? If one wants Sharia law why not move to a Muslim country? How many Westerners enforce the bikini on Muslim countries!

  • @ livelaughlovelifeish your right islam didn't introduce a new thing because it started in judaism then passed to christianity an then islam the concept of hijab is the same in all three religions.,

  • i have great respect to Susan Carland's thank you

  • I am Australian, but I have one thing to say, that has got me very curious.

Jesus Christ was a Jew, actually he was also known as the king of jews. The Hijab isn't bad. We should just respect people for what they believe in.

But its been carried down from the jewish faith basically. If you look at any depiction of Mary, shes got the veil on also. So aren't they considered as the extension of the todayish christian heritage? This is just my opinion, I like to respect all religions. (:

  • @livelaughlovelifeish I have sent you a message responding to your question here.

  • @livelaughlovelifeish The hijab did not pass onto Islam from the Torah/New Testament. It was part of God's law that passed on through early Prophets. In the Torah the women are commanded to cover their (although for different reasons) and there are many Jewish and Christian women who do cover their hair. Some Jewish women (of African descent) in America cover their face. i watched the video on youtube.

  • @livelaughlovelifeish thanks for the respect :D althought the face veil is not islamic, it's cultural, only coverring the hair is mandatory

  • if a KKK member wants to wear his hood in public , get over it its his perogative , maybe he doesn't feel comfortable looking at a face full of tattoos

  • Very religious Jewish women don't wear a wig lol they wear a scalf on their head but looks different to a Hijab as it looks kinda trendy. I used to say don't ban the Burqa but I find it hard to believe that the majority of women would want to wear it and if it wasn't in the Quran & men originally told them to wear it then it isn't right. I think the Burqa is extreme & not practical in the heat. You want to wear a Ninja mask in pub then stay in the Middle East or go to Japan.

  • @zzsharka some Orthodox Women wear wigs but as you said most wear a headscarf, its a sign of shame actually (I've read the Talmud and Torah), actually in the heat the niqab or any other head-covering it quite practical why do you think Arab men dress wear a kufiya its because it not only protects you from the wind, sand and sun it actually keeps your head cool.

  • @irishgodfatherchris I was talking about the Burqa which the video clip refers to.

  • Islam is the cancer of humanity. Check out 'bare naked Islam' and 'religion of peace' for up to date information on Islam.

  • @CatherineDeLancret Why goto nonmuslims for learning about Islam? Do we goto Christians to learn about Athiesm or goto the doctor to get our car repaired? That is common sense. Many nonmuslims don't seem to be having this common sense nowdays and one reason for that is the poison directly injected into their minds by their media against Islam and Muslims. Another reason is that they are just plain arrogant beings.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism What are you talking about? I have many friends who are ex-Muslims and many Coptic Christians who have fled the middle East. Did you ever think we have educated ourselves on your religion and we don't like it.

  • They're saying Nun's covered their faces now? Talk about revising history... What's next? Aboriginals were originally Muslims? On the topic of covering your face: If you ride a motorbike and turn up at a service station and refuse to take your helmet off, the attendant is not required by law to serve you. He/she is within their rights to lock the place down and assume you're there to rob them. Not showing your face in Australia IS seen as threatening. Want to talk about respecting the culture?

  • @Keruaran What is wrong with you people? Muslim women wearing face viel CAN AND DO show their face. When they did they they say they will not show their face to anyone outside their home? Its just that they will only show their face TO WOMEN. And there are plenty women working in Banks and Shops and Airports e.t.c Thus a vieled woman will show them their face for ID or security reasons and there is no chance of problem at all! Your motorbike example does not fit with Burqa at all!

  • @MatrixOfDynamism

Yes it does! Do you think I don't know what a Burqa is? And are you assuming the guy working nightshift at the service station should lose his job and be replaced by a female just to suit you? There's a reason why you rarely see females working nightshift at service stations you know. Have you ever worked in such a job in the city and had to deal with some of the crazies that show up in the middle of the night? Go and waste somebody elses time.

  • @Keruaran Stop getting angry and use common sense, do you really think that the religious burqa wearing muslim women would actually go out at late night? I mean seriously come on. If they do have to travel long distance than they WILL have a male companion like their husband, father, son, brother or someone in the "mahram" category. So the point you raise is still invalid. In any case less than 0.1% women wear the Buraq and most if do cover themself do so with headscarf.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism

Common sense is something I don't think you're aquainted with.

  • @Keruaran I am responding you with simple arguments, if you can't beat that than its fine. You don't want to face the truth.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism

When you respond to my comment equating a Burqa with a mere "face veil", you have abdicated all claim to anything resembling "truth". The idiocy is self evident.

  • @Keruaran What is offending people in their mind in this case is a person covered from head to toe in black, with the covered face being the most important part in it. If I used the word face viel I was refering to part of Burqa. We are talking in English where a term for Burqa does not exist, but face viel is the main thing where everyone is concentrating - thus the comparison does with a guy having helmet on. Can you see my point now? You have not answered my arguments.

  • @Keruaran The dress of Nuns bears a strong resemblance to the dress of muslim women. They also dress in black & cover their head. In fact there is little difference besides color of clothes between a muslim woman wearing a headscarf & a nun. Yet no one shouts that nuns are being oppressed and must be liberated. & few people pay attention to the fact that muslim women cover themself since it is commanded by God, they have religious reasons just like nuns. Anyway, what is Burqa per you??

  • @MatrixOfDynamism

You're clearly a troll, so you wont get any further response.

  • Comment removed

  • @Keruaran I am merely presenting the fact tht in the western countries women are infact working in Banks, Hotels, Airports, Police Stations, Shop Counters, e.t.c in great numbers. Muslim women have no problem showing their face to them, than whats all the noise about than? When did muslim women refuse to show their face? They are merely restricting it to women only in the public domain.

The truth is that people like you are scared and terrified by Burqa thus the anitiburqa behavior

  • @MatrixOfDynamism

So, I say go and waste somebody elses time and that's your que to spam me with comments and use nonsense terms like "anitiburqa". Here's a hint: Not interested, go and waste somebody elses time.

  • @Keruaran Excellent because that's the why ISLAM hates to respect others choices like for ex NO BURQA.

  • You come to another country, you abide by their laws, simple as that.

    Don't like it? piss off.

  • what about the catholic nuns that wear a head peace,

  • Susan Carland is lost and looking for a place to belong and gets a job spruiking rubbish. She is sad cunt and is not australian nor anyone close to a patriot. Go live in you Wahabi Saudi shit hole. White whore

  • about the tattoos on the face, EXACTLY!! so get over it for those of u who are against hijab and stuff..

  • lol they cut to john Safron when she talk about the jewish

  • it's their choice ..... watch your language there , no one called your religion sick , if you have a religion that is .

  • Comment removed

  • I believe that wearing veils is just enough to fulfill what the Qur'an told women to do.

Covering the face is not obligatory, and if it's making this much of controversy, why not just stick to veils? Maybe!?

  • @The7Legend yes the Quran said nothing about having to wear burqa's. But some women feel comfortable in them so we should just let them be who they are and stop bullying them. It's obviously more of a cultural aspect than a religious one.

  • @mizsay

exaclty! if people can just let other people be who they are and stop hating, the world would be a much better place to live in. and i like the person's comment written at the bottom of the screen saying: heels is a symbol of women's oppression.. i think that that is rite.. but i dont hate them because its their choice and the choice does not harm or bother me in anyway, so i just choose to let them be.. i chose to stop hating.

  • @mizsay Some people might feel comfortable wearing a balaclava and that would be unacceptable in public, but of course we have to bend over backwards to accommodate minorities.

  • @mizsay WRONG. The Qur'an says that Muhammad should tell their wives and daughters to cover, lower their gazes, shows their best modesty etc.

  • @The7Legend

yes you are rite, im pretty sure the Quran never says anything about covering the face, the veil(hijab) as the american call them is a mandatory thing..the history behind muslim women covering their faces is that in the old days back in the arabian soil, arabian women covered their faces because of the dust and this point can be supported with the geographical facts. the arabs live in the desert and there are cases of sand storms and thats why they cover their faces.

  • @Donh9020 lol if that rubbish was true then men would also be covering their faces.

  • @zzsharka im not sure if u have ever been to the middle east but if u have, im pretty sure u've seen men covering their faces there. too. just that they dont really cover it all the time because if u think about the logic, back in the days, men used to be the 'everything', men used to do all the talking. isnt it rude if ur talking to somebody with ur face covered and the person ur talking to cant even see u? thats why men dont wear it as much as women do. plus, its not an obligatory thing to do.

  • @The7Legend You can't make that choice for them. If they want to cover their face or not, it's equally valid as your choice.

  • bunch of left wing hand wringers patting eachother on the back, the majority of australia is completely against the burqua

  • @spudkin2 the majority of right wingers lol

  • @lghulhghh i love casper...his so cute...plus i dont get what your trying to say because he doesn't wear a headscarf nor is he female ??

  • Let's get back to the fundemental issue pertaining to the wearing of the burqa. As a national security perspective, Identity through facial recognition is vital. Why should women wearing burqa's be exempt?. What will the world be like if every female decided to wear the burqa, walk into a bank and not be verified as to who she is?. The point here is about our national security and not about the islamic religion.

  • @jtso6123 Women wearing burqa's are not exempted for identity. They believe in national security too. They do unveil in the airport and the banks if necessary. Ideally to a woman official. But if there's none around the man official is the last resort for them. There's only at most 1% of Muslims in Australia that wear it.The real problem here is once the burqa is banned...they will start banning the hijab in another decade. Then it'd be more harder to identify muslims in the population.

  • @mizsay don't be so dishonest...burqas aren't banned...only in specific places

re hijab...one sees muslim girls admit to the hideous discomfort of wearing such here in australia...imagine how muslim women suffer so hideously in earths hottest temps, then get beaten if a wisp of hair escapes

why is it that muslim females accept being COMMANDED what to wear to the point where it causes them hair loss/skin disorders/discomfort

why is it they delude themselves that hair/skin are immoral/shameful?

  • @proudfemale what are you talking about? they are banned in france. Obviously you do not know any muslim women who wears a burqa and only know them from watching movies like "not without my daughter". I say get to know a person who wears a burqa before you have any opinion about them.

  • @mizsay . You are clearly going off topic here. The majority of people here beleive than banning the burqa will bring these ladies in line with mainstream Australia. Muslims love drawing attention to themselves for controversy. It's very simple. Take off the burqa. They are doing more harm than good. They have marginalised themselves.

  • @jtso6123 muslims aren't the one who are drawing attention to themselves, it's the Australian politicians. If we force people to be in line with mainstream Australia then we can't really call ourselves a free country can we. Don't be feared by your own insecurities of seeing women with burqa's on. It's no big deal.

  • @mizsay Yes theyll feel much more comfortable in one of those muslim majority countries. There is no place for islam in the West.

  • @oxopig Christianity is a Middle Eastern religion not Western.

  • @mizsay I suppose girls have the right to have their clitorises cut off as well.

  • @jtso6123 there is no security threat here in any case whatsoever... the only problem you guys have is that you can't find any constructive ways to achieve multiple results...like when a lady enters your bank or airport or anywhere...there can be female areas where they are checked by female security personnel. this is what is in practice in countries like Saudia Arabia etc. females can unveil themselves in front of other females where there are no male. so i find your excuse debunked

  • miszay: Not having religion is just that. It's NOT a religion. Religion is for the weak of mind and spirit. the prophet WAS a MISOGYNIST WAR MONGER. A despicable evil power hungry murderer , a self appointed spokesman for an imainary super man!!!

You can pray for whatever you want. Just know you're wasting your one and only life!!

  • @toronto444444 Atheism is a religion. It is a belief, is it not? What do you believe will happen to you when you die? Do you not see the evidence and signs outside your window? The sun, the moon, the stars, mother nature, fire, water. the atmosphere, the oxygen we breathe in, the gravity that pulls us down, the hunger and thirst we feel, the existence of how a life embryo is created, the emotions and feelings we feel when their is injustice in the world. Why do we age? Why do we die?

  • @mizsay shut up.

  • @NeonGenesisPlatinum lol can't help it mate...i never reply to people on youtube videos. But these uneducated twats who comment and think they are a higher being than everyone else really get me goin. Our shit are all the same colour no matter what you are.The world would be a better place if people just start talking to each other.

  • The problem is not Islam, the problem is the West. We are losing our identity and our pride. western civilisation is great. By not agreeing to that you allow dirty muslims not to integrate but create their own ghettos.

  • @Rafdaganga you are just describing what Western people did to Australia when Aborigines were here. Aborigines lost their identity and dirty english people did not integrate to Aboriginal culture and created their own ghettos. Well done.

  • @mizsay Stop being politically correct. Aboriginal culture was primitive, they had 1,000s of tribes with no common language and were pedophiles. They didn't even event the wheel. The british merely educated them.

Australia has a lot to celebrate about its western roots.

  • @Rafdaganga what English immigrants did to Aborigine culture is far more worse than what Muslim immigrants have done (which is basically nothing) to Australian culture. All I am saying is people should not be hypocritical.

  • @Rafdaganga The English educated: brought science, God and the arts. Islam is a fascist religion and wants to take over. It is primative and all about violence. The slow inflitration of Sharia law shouldn't be ignored.

The Aborigines didn't have a culture, they had many. The many were primitive. The Europeans and the west modernised.

  • @Rafdaganga wow you're very uneducated....People brought science, Did you know the Quran was the first book that stated the earth was round unlike the english who said the world was flat lmao. There's so much scientific evidence in the Quran compared to any holy books during it's time. Plus Arts? Every single culture has their own individual type of arts.

If you think you are a more higher being thank everyone else, why is your excrement the same colour as everyone else.

  • islam is a barbaric cult that was invented by a misogynist war monger to enable him to gain power and have multiple wives so he could lay in his tent having sex all day while laughing at the idiots that did his bidding.

    Nothing more and nothing less.

  • @toronto444444 its obvious I'm replying to an uneducated racist who think dirty and unlike you, I don't waste my time replying essays back. Islam is not a cult and is still the largest religion in the world. Obviously you get your information from wikipedia which was dated back in 2005 and don't do the maths. Muhammad had only 6 children with his first wife Khadija and after she died, he married the widows of some men who died in a crusade. He ONLY had one child with one of them after.

  • mizsay: Without islam there would be no radical islam. That is enough to despise islam in it's entirety. 8 out of the 10 major conflicts in the world involve islam. imagine how peaceful it would be without it at all. Too bad all the followers couldn't hurry up and get their delusional devout asses up to their imaginary heaven and leave the rest of us alone.

Oh right, I forgot. That would make them atheists. LOL. Well, you believe in a god so I guess you'll believe anything.

  • mizsay; Rational thinkers don't believe in extra lives in fairy land. And yes all religions are cults. The followers of every single religion believe in something that is unprovable. islam is a cult. Atheists score higher on I.Q. tests than the devoutly religious by a wide margin. Google it. the prophet was a misogynist war monger that put his delusions in writing then killed or enslaved anyone that disagreed. Only the stupid or those in power believe his fiction. cheers

  • @toronto444444 Wow. The problem with athiests is they believe they are higher than everyone and think they are their own god and try to convert them to their unreligious religion. I rather believe in heaven and hell than to believe I will become a tree (like some athiests do), which will turn into paper which the bible would be written on. LOL I feel so sorry for you guys that i pray you will become rational and mature when you grow up.

  • mizsay:How easily you play with facts. There are just 1.6 billion muslims. Nice try. So all those al-qaeda idiots aren't martyrs for islam? Bullshit.Only an idiot that believes in the hereafter would blow themselves up for imaginary virgins. You religious zealots are always changing the rules to suit your delusions. They aren't atheists because atheists are rational and believe you only get one life.

  • Mizsay: from toronto 444444: Your response to me shows how little you know about anything. No atheists suicide bomb. Ever. Only religious idiots that think they are going to heaven, and muslim heaven at that. They want to atone for a shame or to regain honour or to be a martyr for the cult of islam. Only a person of faith would be so stupid as to think there is an afterlife or heaven or even more stupid than that; hell.

  • @toronto444444 Your response shows how little you know about world history events.Suicide Bombings and Terrorist Attacks are Political, Not Religious. Also, if you think of it,All Suicide Bombers are Athiests.God prohibits taking life away which God has made sacred. If you go against God wishes, you are a non-believer of God. Therefore suicide bombers are athiest. And its funny that you call Islam a cult for a religion that 2 billion out of 7 billion people in the world follow.Doyourresearch.PEACE!

  • Oh dear Australia is going down the pan with political correctness, I feel sorry for people living there

  • @engineeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerr. I did repond. hereit is again . All religion is nonsense. Just an excuse to wear stupid hats. Superstition for slow thinkers. Too bad religion also produces sadists, murderers, rapists, suicide bombers, terrorists and the like or else it would just be a big game of make believe for the non rational. This broad isn't likely even a muslim. She just likes the attention.

  • @toronto444444 Life isnt heaven.Too bad athiests also produce sadists, murderers, rapists, suicide bombers, terrorists. Nobody's perfect mate but we should all at least strive to be a good person no matter religious or not. I chose to be muslim because i rather jump on the bandwagon than be a sad angry about life nut. What do you have to lose? And this broad is very much muslim. She has a very good heart and she's a PhD in politics and social inquiry. They ask her to be on the show.

  • @toronto444444 that is your point view that you have built from what you hear , all of us are humans , and all of us want to find the freedom , love , justice and happiness , so there are the people who think that islam gives them these values , and there are the people who think that islam takes these values from their live , so tell me what makes the person choose to believe in the positive way , and what makes another believe in the negative way , it is just a point of view.

  • All religion is nonsense.

  • @toronto444444 reply my comment below , why you didn't ?

  • Come on be patient, these people have been living in tents for thousands of years. It's only natural that they will want to wear a little one, out and about. Assimilation takes time.

  • @78CAK yes your right, assimilation does take time and it does work...look at the Aborigines for instance. It is so sad it works that I think for every woman that is forced not the wear the burqa by law, there should be 2 more people in the world to wear the hijab. I'm muslim and never thought of starting to wear the hijab until french govt started creating this injustice in the world, I'm thinking about starting to wear it. So thank you French government for opening my eyes.

  • Wasting time talking to a woman that believes in superstitious nonsense. Even though she is hot!! She probably converted to get attention. Believing in the koran already proves she's not too bright. Why are these non arabs that live in a democracy debating a barbaric arab based set of customs?

  • @toronto444444 Ask your nuns in the churches about what that muslim woman says. and what are the superstitious believes in that video? , can you tell me what were the ladies wearing just 100 years ago in Europe ? , they were wearing a clothes which are similar to the islamic clothes , they wear covering their hair , but in the another side , it is the lady choice and desire to wear the hair cover or not.

  • C. Hitchens is missing from this forum

  • @reanimated6 lol i feel sorry for C.Hitchens he never smiles..he looks like an alcoholic depressed about life man.

  • humans beings survived up to this day living in bonds(society) and this togetherness is what has allowed humans to overcome numerous obstacles in our life journey. Majority decides what we want!! Come on people its 2011, its time for us to explore, there is so much more to uncover and find out, its endless in time and space, do we really need to enforce the old rules from Arabia upon our new breed of man, do we really need a burqa? is that something you want to wear? i dont know anymore

  • @guzonjinsin88 exactly...its 2011, why can't everyone just live life to be themselves. I dont want to wear the burqa but I also don't want other sisters to be forced not to wear it if they want to. It's not right enforcing our culture into others.

  • @mizsay when i mentioned its 2011, i placed an inner meaning behind it, obviously you didn't understand one bit of it. Plus, its not in Australian culture to wear a burqa, so they are enforcing their culture onto us, you even managed to get that wrong!

  • @guzonjinsin88 how are they enforcing their culture onto us? are they forcing you wear it? No. In Australia we give people a "fair go" and it is part of our constitution for everyone to follow what religion they want to. Just because you have insecurities and fear of seeing people wear the veil, doesn't mean it should be banned. Its your own personal problem that you can't deal with seeing people wear it.

  • @mizsay Our constitution is the resemblance of our people and our culture. Yes our constitution does permit the practice of religion however, we have certain rules which tolerate certain practices, example: if my religion is based around nudity that does not mean that i can walk around naked in front of little kids and other people who may find that disgusting. We have an advanced civilization here, thats why our country is so good, why would i promote burqa for our future generations of woman

  • @mizsay why would i promote burqa and see my future generations of children having to wear a peace of cloth hiding their shine and beauty in this hot humid country? All cultures in this world have their own cultural stance and when you decide to go into these places you are required to abide by the rules in order to be treated properly, example: Japan Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Argentina ....Burqa belongs to ancient arabic traditions not Australia in 2011, we are civilized here and advanced

  • I hope I'm not naive in thinking most Muslims don't bevieve in terrorising the infidels, stoning people to death, chopping hands off and killing in the name of religion; but there are a very few that really do.

  • @Kutcher1991 You should change your comment to "most people" than "most muslims". If a nonmuslim kills in the name of religion the media dont disclose his religion. Its a double standard and propaganda. For e.g the recent massacre in Norway, did you know he was a catholic? The problem lies withing the media today trying to make muslims look like evil when it really is the most peaceful religion out of all ot them. Do your research.

  • Jazaallah amazing post, well done answers by sister, how is common sense a challenging topic? hehe....

  • Subhanallah burqa alone is further drawing global attention and more people are further drawn to learn about Islam.... truly Allah is Greatest.... i mean no offense, i sincerely request that you just read the Quraan once to get past the sensitivity people have of Islam, then i hope all this nonsense won't affect you negatively if it hasn't already. May peace be with you
