05 ninja's had a faulty air box so if you brought the bike down to hard it would break the air box, and also yea the forks will fuck up

if you're bringing it down with speed and your wheel isn't straight... you could induce a tank slapper. Just keep the wheel straight... and come straight down. Try not to lean as you bring back down and you should be good.
