I've been playing AC4 and AC 4A and I've yet to learn anything about a gun melee attack. (that's shown at about 3:50)

However,on AC4 and 4A, if you look on a L arm gun or R arm gun, there IS a stat for Melee. (somewhere on the left column when you look at all stats)

Does that number contribute to a slash with a sword on another hand, or is there really an melee attack I'm unaware of?

I've been playing both games for awhile, so I assume no.

I doubt it, but this movie peaked my interest.

you cant really use a melee attack with a gun,the Melee Ability stat just shows how easily you AC's arms can move that weapon around.for example, a Bazooka or Sniper Rifle has a low melee stat so it will be almost impossible to target a fast moving target at close range while something with a high melee stat,like a Machine Gun,will track targets with ease.

How did you managed to pass Marche au Supplice on hard mode?

its easy really.just prioritize targets.go for berlioz first(he's the most dangerous),then the quad(he has very little AP and is easy to hit),the the reverse jointed AC,and finally kill Hilarios.

i used a medium quad with 1 scatter missile(the one the Hogire uses),1 bazooka and berlioz's heavy rifle.

do not stay in one place or they will gang up on you,keep them chasing you,that way they wont be able to dodge as often.

I have both games. Good combination. Funny, when I wanted to play as an AC, I would put on armored core. When I wanted to play as an MT, I would play Ace Combat
