So your supposed to get in the Russian Helicopter with Alyx to the Arctic To the Aperture Science ship in a helicopter to protect mossman and protect that ship. If it's destoryed.Another teleporter to xen wil occure.That means that ship contains the portal device to the Combine. So the ship is a lab basically from another lab company. So I'm pretty sure u gotta protct it. So meebee another half-life? :P

@vincent834 In the Half-Life 2 Leak(It's not called the the beta or alpha) it was a rebel ship captured by the combine, in the final version of hl2, it's a ship made by Glados(Aputure Science) and one day disappeared. In ep2 they said they had to find the Borealis before the combine did because it had technologie the combine could use to take over the universe or something. I've played the e3 level with the Borealis. Too bad this song isn't in it.

Play Portal? Well we can see in that game that Aputure Science has technology related to making portals.

The Combine have been disconnected from their other worlds at the end of ep 1. They are now stranded here on Earth with no reinforcements, unless of course they get the Borealis, which has portal technology in it. They want to make a new path between Earth and the other Combine planets now.
