There shouldn't be an age restriction at all. If someone is old enough to become pregnant, they should be old enough to take whatever steps necessary to prevent it.
The idea that this violates 'parents rights' is beyond absurd when, after all, that guy was talking about parents preventing daughters from being able to access Plan B thereby forcing her to become a parent (as they would likely not allow abortion either.) What about her parental rights? What about her rights as a human being?
@juliewashere88 Well said! I really like how you said if you're old enough to get pregnant you should be able to do whats necessary to prevent it. I also think it's wrong how MALE pharmacists are making a decisions for women. I really think people need to keep their "morals" out of other peoples business and also get educated. Why dont they stop selling cough medicine so that teens wont use it to get high, or how about sleeping pills so that people wont get addicted or OD??
The age should be dropped to the age when they reach puberty.
Try to teach your own kids abstinence. Look at the success that Sarah Palin had with her kid. There are some really good reasons why kids really should refrain from sex but not making babies when they don't refrain from sex is likely a good idea now they have choice.
nice piece of misinformation at the end. if you go to the manufacturer's website it says plainly that one of the ways plan b may act is by preventing implantation. that is a chemical abortion. also Plan B has had almost no effect on the abortion rate in Britain, nor anywhere else it's been introduced. the pp lady's comments that it will prevent abortion is a statement of faith.
i suggest you disable comments as well (after posting mine i mean :-)) God bless you in your work.
this bullshit is expensive, make her buy it if you have the chance.
