This was my favorite incarnation of the Fellowship. Just not the same without the pedal steel pads and lines.

that is not brad mehldau. you WISH that was mehldau but it's jon cowherd. rosenwinkel is a nice surprise though. and yeah pedal steel is a great instrument.

Great is great, but Mr. Blade is just on another level. In all reality he is the most musical, fresh, and innovative drummer I've ever heard... We have our work cut out for us oh inspired ones!
By the way, modern drummer just did another interview with him recently, so check it out. I think it's Shorter's description of his style that helps me think "outside" most
