  • Rest in peace

when i was reading it in the paper i felt like crying my eyes out because two of the awsomest countries are fighting with each other....

it do'nt have to be this way, we should all sit down and have a think about this....

including the people that were involved in the attack...

    was it worth it....

are you happy that you killed an innocent person just because she is proud to be tongan....

    have a think about it..

rest in peace Isinita..i just wish it didnt have to result 2 dis

  • we will miss yuee soo much aunty:*:*:* love yuee always :(

  • RIP- show some respect you guys.

  • I thought I might add, we Samoans and Tongans do live together in peace, unfortunately you get the odd parasytes taking out their own people (polynesians) for nothing, tryna be muncho infront of friends proves nothing. I'm sure this beautiful young lady had Samoan friends too..RIP Iasinita..

I dont need to hear the story of the Samoan girls/boys, being a Samoan myself, there's no real excuse to take somebody's life.

  • So sad, I heard the story and still can't fathem why something sooo dreadful has happend to someone so beautiful. I do not know her but from what I'm read I gather she's Tongan. I'm Samoan and proud to be, although I'm not proud of what has happend to Iasinita, so tragic, so uneccessary, and such a waste. My heart goes out to her and her family and friends, it's hard to imagine what they're going through, especially it being such a senseless death.

  • Hearing of this I think a piece of every Tongan just died when she passed away because of the Tongan coat of arms :( !! Not cool Samoa your words are SOO opposite to your actions!

  • wtf is your problem!!!!

@disrupt wtf is your problem?! yea i am da same GAL! but at the moment i was so ANGRY but now ive cum to realisation and have thought about wat i said and it was wrong off me to say that, i was just too angry at the time, i now realise we shuld be making things rite!!! so thats why i posted up that comment!!! if youre just being negative, go play on da road!

  • REST EASY AND IN PEACE!!WASSSUPP!!STILL LOVE BEING A HAMO CUZZ!!NEVER ASHAMED NO MATTER WHAT!!THE REALIST HAMOZZ...SAMOA TO THE DEATH..BUT REST IN PEACE IASINITA ..FROM THE BAY AREA TO THE DIRTY SOUTH OF AUCKLAND!!

  • One day Samoa & Tonga will live with love and respect for one another and including the rest of the pacific so why not make this day Today and Everyday!! Jesus never tought anything hateful, selfish, proud, or disrespecful.. R.I.P and God bless Iasinita

  • why can't we just get a long with each other . i'm sorry for your loss and god bless

  • wh canty we just get a long with each other

  • DID IT HAVE TO TAKE A LIFE? Lets make a CHANGE! Lets stand together as strong pacific islands and show the world we can do it!! off course were strong, but STRONG IN OUR HEARTS, we dont need to fight to prove it, we are ONE. im sua Iasinita would be looking down on us and proud to see that we are all living in peace after learing from her passing away! Lets make the change! STAND UP!!! whos with me?! If youre with me, leave a comment saying 'CHANGE - STAND UP' to show your support!

  • @dudewotabad1

aren't u the same guy that said "shame on you Samoa!!!"... ?? talk sh*t!

  • @disrupt wtf is your problem!!!!

yea i am da same GAL! but at the moment i was so ANGRY but now ive cum to realisation and have thought about wat i said and it was wrong off me to say that, i was just too angry at the time, i now realise we shuld be making things rite!!! so thats why i posted up that comment!!! if youre just being negative, go play on da road!

  • I wish she could come back.. She was an angel. Miss you Ice!!! R.I.P

  • @laniablake..u quoted my very words "what happened was wrong" how does that imply that she bought this on herself?...trainstation taxi stand who cares, out late, drinking, bankstown, that's trouble right there, a women should be able to party and walk the streets safely but unfortunately we can't...so be smart people, learn from this...once again laniablake "what happened was wrong"...make sence this time?

  • @foxclayd no not really..but it doesnt matter anymore..wat matters r the families & friends on all sides hurting from this ..my thoughts & prayers with them all..& also that people come together to make sure this doesnt eva happen again under any circumstance..understandably theres alot of outrage & pain..not jst us Tongans but thes Sas too & all nationalities r shocked & saddened by wats happened..but it is lent..& Easter is coming up so hopefully @ some point..there can be forgiveness

  • Rest in peace. xxx

  • Am Tongan... Don't judge all Samoans because it was a small majority... treat this as an individual case... Don't let the past dwell in the presence...We've all gotten this far to break the barriers between us... don't ruin it but i hope justice is served..

  • Im Samoan and was really pissed off when i heard this news. We are the same race with a different name. Dont yous get it??? Rest In Peace angel. May you lead the police 2 your killers. Alofa tele mo oe.xoxoxoxo

  • To the family and friends of the Beautiful Iasinta,

I too am Samoan and am very Ashamed of what has been bought upon this young lady. Condolences and Apologies.

Lets pray and hope that justice is bought unto those who committed this savagely crime.

    May You Rest in Peace:)

  • Awwww riding in heaven she is at peace beautiful

  • R.I.P. qurl !

  • May you rest in love and peace Iasinita. May your story inspire the two races to walk away from ignorance. This video is a lovely tribute to your memory. I see pictures of a beautiful young woman with the most genuine smile. And doing what every other 22 year old does: live life to the fullest and having a lot of fun in the process!!! You must of been an awesome person! You are surely missed! And I love Avril too... lol. RIP Iasinita!!!

  • Condolences to the Family. I think its time to find that group of stupid troublemakers and teach them a torture lesson.

  • shame afta wat happened to Benji Marshall u'd think we'd all be united 2 stand with him against racism..instead this tragedy happens..I'd hate to think wat nonpolys think of us now..& we know we're not like that..there's alot of love & respect between us all..jst a small minority who need to b reigned in..I understand why the Tongans r outraged..this is a 22 yr old girl we're talking about..but we cant blame all Samoa..lets jst hope the police do their job rite & bring justice..may peace prevail

  • omg! this story really saddens my heart :( my dearest condolences to Iasinita & her family. im samoan too but this right here is absurd! the stupidity of those people should not go un-punished! i hope justice will be served for them damn idiots that took matters into their own hands. only G0D has the right to take & give life - N0T THEM!! rest easy Iasinita!

  • R.I.P Iasinita Paraha ! ... does anyone kno wat the songz called ?

  • Im samoan nd is very ashamed of how these group of people have done this to her .. Most of my mates are tongans and i love them just like my brothers and sisters! its immature people like that who beat up innocent people for no reason will get nothing but shit in there lives (excuse the language) .. i don't know her personally but i feel for her and her famz taken away tooo soon .. May God be with her family at this time RIP IASINITA

  • [2]... it saddens me to see peopLe ashamed of who they are and where they're from, it shouLdnt be Like this. Just because of 20 immature peopLe, that shouLdnt stop the rest of us TONGANS & SAMOANS to continue in being civiLised and work together. Dont worry Samoa, every country has their Losers.

Rest in Jesus Iasinita Paraha. LOVE, THOUGHTS & PRAYERS TO HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THAT THEY MAY FIND COMFORT, LOVE, PEACE & FORGIVENESS THROUGH OUR LORD, JESUS CHRIST.

    (im tongan btw)

  • [1]...have you ever watched one of those racist movies, sarafina for an exampLe, and by the end of that movie you sit there mouthing that you hate aLL white peopLe. even though it wasnt the whole palangi race that killed and tortured those innocent bLack peopLe (in the movie)...Samoans are NOT to bLame. 20 PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE, not the whoLe isLand.

  • condolences to the family for their loss. may God bring justice for the family & may the families of the people involved turn them in :( our generation lacks education to learn especially LOVE. love the tribute.

  • beautiful girl gone too soon :( i feel disgusted in the people who did this to her, its uncalled for and unnecessary also. Deepest condolences to the familia prayers are going to you all and her family Rest easy Ice your in good hands now sis ♥

  • I spend my days with pan pacific youth in QLD, I know for a fact that good home and family life is lacking in this younger generation. Aus study is only available to perm res and citizens, so the number of poly youth not allegeable to study without causing a lifetime of debt is crazy, we pay taxes like everyone else, educate teachers and employers about our culture to better understand our people...heck they don't even acknowledge the indigenous people of this land. Understand what's really hap

  • If u judge a race from the actions of a small group of that people then you'd be angry at the world...marcelin20a you said u can't help how u feel...wrong, u chose to be angry at all Samoans and judge them because of others, not taking advantage of opportunities and being sent back to the islands would send a huge number of Polynesians away, don't let the actions of others cause an ignorant attitude, ur right by saying the younger generation are out of control but that's in every culture, wher

  • Auleleihamo and hoodlum probably the same person...messed up what happens when u go out late drinking and walk to a train station in bankstown...come on people, make choices that's not going to put you in danger...what happened was wrong, but it could have been avoided. And who's next?... Our younger siblings...education is power, and unfortunately very few Polynesians have any. Truth!

  • @foxclayd First of all she wasnt walking to the train station..she was going to get a taxi..secondly being Tongan/Maori & growing up with many Samoan friends she probably felt safe seeing all the poly men & women arnd her rather than other races in that area..that makes it even more sad..& finally..I hope ur not implying that she brought this on herself..bcoz if u r than SHAME ON U TOO!..what happened WAS wrong & there are no 'buts' to it!

  • @AuLeLeIHaMo so childish seriously grow up

  • guys if your gona sit here say nasty things i will remove your comments. this isnt a place to fight thanks you..

  • Seriously Shameful !!! Why ? a hand full of moi pees 20 against a couple of Tongans a very cowardly act it doesn't get islanders anywhere in todays life except a bad name and all the hard work the communities have put in to gain respect in australia seriously the old tongan samoan wars was the past yes tonga was the ruler of samoa for 200 yrs in ancient history but samoa fought them off and reclaim samoa with a peacefull truce why is it today this sh*t still going on seriously it is so sad :(

  • My sincerest condolences to the Lasinita's family and friends. Blame this on alcohol, blame this on drugs but please don't blame it on Samoans as a whole. Theres always a group of idiots both Tongans and Samoan in all generations that use the ages old rivalry of our forefathers as an excuse to commit violence. We are Polynesian- from the same ancestor stock! Keep the peace Polynesian people. Ofa and alofa atu.

  • This is soooooo sad!! Such a tragedy! And i really hope those animals get theres!!! They got all us islanders to answer too! RIP and my deepest condolences to the family of this beautilful woman. xoxo

  • Rest In Paradise..........

  • Dick head is whats gonna go inside there mommas mouth!!!!!! damn women beaters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Much Love. but I'd just like to say, can some stop leaving irrelevant comments: saying 'I am ashamed to be Samoan' is just unnecessary! whatever happened, I ain't gonna lose my Samoan, I ain't gonna say I'm ashamed to be, becos what happened was the stupidity of INDIVIDUALS representing themselves, I ain't gonna be sorry for THEIR mistakes! making this a Race issue ain't helping anyone. prayers and love to the victim's family!

  • may she rest in peace!

may the samoans who laid a hand on her especially if they were males may they move back to samoa with there families and live poorly and may the tsunami come back to there country and kill them may the waves beat the shit out of them so they can see how it feels, thank you that is all amen.. (^^,) fxcking samoans

p.s - many reason why i hate samoans and this is one of them "WOMEN BEATER" !!!!!

  • @hoodlummmmm DICK HEAD!

  • This is the saddest thing to hear, it brings tears to my eyes when I think about how young she was and how hard her family must be taking this, noone deserves to be beaten to death, it is also VERY sad that those who took her life can only be identified as "Samoans" and when things like that happen it is such an insult that some stupid ass plastic samoans can get on here and write things like "I am so ashamed to be Samoan right now" but u r a proud one when a great achievment has been made?

  • This is not to offend anyone or the readers of you tube, this may seem to be a racial issue but its not, it was a bunch of drunks that took this beautiful girls life, why should one suffer a foolish mans decision????? I think everybody is avoiding the bigger picture, it only seems racial because the girl was beaten up for wearing a logo t shirt. SHAME on those fools and my condolence to her family, may her beautiful soul be in gods care, focus on world peace not over a foolish mans choice

    We are praying for you...

And for those who cowardly attacked their sister...you may not see it but she is your sister... Give your hearts to Jesus...He loves you....

  • Man, the Samoan and Tongan beef needs to stop.

  • I hope this doesn't perpetuate into an all out war..

    We are better than this...

This was an alcohol fueled problem.. Not a racial driven one.

Hope they find these bastard/bitches that don't know hoe to handle the piss/drink.

This is one time for my islander community/families.

    Both Tongan & Samoan based.

    My respect for Icey. 1love.

  • @dtao2r ..... it was both racial and alcohole....

  • RIP Iasinita...May you find a good place in Heaven where you can watch over your friends and family and keep them away from trouble like you had to go through..

100% ashamed right now because of idiots like these that go around doing stupid things like this. GROW UP for goodness sake..and i DO agree with comments below that it is the younger generation that spoils it for everyone else...

Condolences to the family & friends of Iasinita...May our good Lord be with you all especially in this time

  • this was heart breaking and made me very angry at the same time knowing how her life was taken away . I cant imagine what I would do to the perpetrators if that was my sister who was bashed defensively by a much larger group of idiots. My whole family (Tongan) was talking about this and it really makes us think how bad Samoans are. I know its wrong to think this was but when you have your fellow sister die like this you have no choice but to think this way, Its human nature.

  • Comment removed

  • cont...I know that MOST samoans are great people but unfortunately its the younger generation that shape our views of Samoan. I wish they would legislate a law where these trouble makers would be sent straight back to the islands to live the hard life thier parents lived. These dickheads should be very gratefull they live in the lucky country with so much opportunity yet they refuse to take any these opportunites. RIP Iasinta and sorry to any Samoans ive offended but this is how I feel.

  • ....and I like to add that I have 10 first cousins who are off mixed Tongan-Samoan heritage. As well as Samoan cousins who have Tongan partners also not forgetting the number of close friends who are Tongan . My family have learnt to get past all that ridiculous racist rivalry which has no place in todays society. Iasintia didn't deserve to have her life robbed from her. I hope that her murderers rot in jail! RIP Iasinita

  • It's absolutely disgraceful how such a young life was ripped away from someone so young. What is wrong with these Samoans! As a Samoan I'm embarrassed that this mentality still exists! You are nothing but a bunch of ignorant racists who don't deserve to be part of society. I hope the perpetrators suffer the full wrath of the law! And that their families disown them! You're a disgrace to the human race! All my love to Iasinita & her family....alofa tele

  • r.i.p iasinita.. prayers for her family and friends.

  • ugh im so ahamed to be samoan ! thought it was over between these pacific sides ! MAKE THIS WAR STOP ! R.I.P lasinita ! your in a better place :)

  • r.i.paradise , your in a better place kicking it wid th man himself:) ,

    MATE MAA TONGA !

  • people are dying from Earthquakes &Tsunamis &alsorts in our world - what happend to the woman is tragic in every way. Tonga &Samoa are neighbours! it's hard to believe even though it's 2011 racism still exists - especially within our pacific community, among our pacific brothers &sisters. No life should be taken like this. How dare they -_- ...

deepest condolences for this womans family. Rest pecefully. Godbless.

  • @DavidSaulKali i do apoLogise, but i do not see how this is a racist matter. tongan/samoans are the same kind of bLack, brown, oLive whatever, Language is simiLar and no offence to those that may be offended, in some way Look aLike. so please if you may, explain to me how this is a racist matter. to me its more ''Pacific Islanders'' not being abLe to controL themseLves when they are intoxicated. bringing up past events such as, the "samoan/tongan conflict history".

Love & prayers to aLL <3

  • @tigerLush just in terms of disliking& taking her life for her pride of culture being expressed thru her clothing &for the simple fact of being Tongan.. To me i think that's a form of Racism.. which dosn't really have to involve skin colour for it to be classed as racism? i do agree on the similarities though, that's why i said their practically neighbours.. but that's how i understood the situation.. i don't know this woman personally but her situation really got me.. GodBless..

  • @DavidSaulKali i too do not know her personaLLy and im pretty sure this incident has affected a Lot of peopLe emotionaLLy. not onLy the tongans but the samoans too.

i just thought racism was straight bLack & white. I totally thought the word was totally used out of context but i understand now, thank you. im thinking, raciaL discrimination! but anyways. thank you cLarifying that with me.

    GodBless
