Ok here we go :

Press and hold the button for the tuner (that small blinking button) and while you hold it turn your reverb so that the noise gate gets activated. It normally gets activated when turned past 12 o clock, but its easy just turn it around and dont forget to hold the blinking button while doing that.

heheh, it will never come close the the rippling hearttrembling distortion of a tube. once you turn the volume up for a show, you will see that your spider wont compare to a tube amp.

i agree. I have a peavey valveking halfstack, and my other guitarist has a line 6 spider III. It's a beast, but god when you crank em up, the tubes in the valveking shine through (the clean is sooo beautiful, and no perfect overdrive like this)

those presets... are they digital in the amp kinda ?

or do you just turn the buttons and then it has a kind of slipknot sound in this case

The artists also the guitarists of those bands programmed them themselves in there, example : Mick thomson and james root using this amp to play together and doing new riffs and stuff. And yea the presets are in it. Like you scroll to soil or SLK (slipknot) and there are 3 or 4 other ones. You gonna love this amp, because you can recreate every metal sound, clean sounds too (maybe not the old 1970 clean sounds) but this is amp is mainly for rock. It got beatiful clean sounds aswell.
