As for the "feed the hungry" comments I personally know these guys and what they are doing is saving lives. This technology gives home owners and families safety against the violence of nature at its worst, plus the highest value in a home current technology can offer. One could make the same argument 100,000 times a day. The point of the video is to demonstrate, to people who continually refuse to ignore hurricane and tornado evacuation orders, just how dangeous it is. More importantly, in trying to increase the effectiveness of evacuations, fewer first responders/ national guard/ etc. will be required to risk their own safety to haul these people out of their homes.

The only problem I see with this is that they loaded an eggplant into the cannon, which clearly had a big part in the salad going through the wall. I'm not entirely convinced that the hole would have been made without the eggplant being involved.

I love it! Proves a very good point! Even lightweight items can become lethal missiles. Even in a car crash, a simple box of tissues in the back window can fly up and hit you with several pounds of force. Nothing like the salad just did, of course, but point well taken! I guess many people simply comment without reading the video description! As described, this was an experiment on how seemingly innocent items can turn into dangerously threatening projectiles when propelled at high speeds like in hurricanes and tornadoes.

Having said that, my comment on this exercise is that the men actually used a pole to push all of the vegetables into one compact mass before shooting it out. I doubt the effect would be as dramatic if they didn't do that.

I dont know what they are trying to prove in this test. For shure no tthe quality of the food. It is scary , to see so many people with money available being so unconsiderate to the food and the people that are hungry in this world. they werent messing around, they were looking at the effects small objects can have when at 120 mph, which is a speed which can be reached by hurricanes and tornadoes. how is it wrong what they were doing? they didnt waste huge amounts, just a bit of lettuce, carrots, and zuchinni. i higly doubt that you donate all of your money to charity, living a frugal lifestyle.
