ELVIS was e very different style of singing...and unfortunately died early young. TOM is the singer evoluted in years and got his unique style.I love Tom for ever end ever.

honkydudeman- Elvis recorded Run On and it was on his 1967 Grammy Award winning gospel LP HOW GREAT THOU ART...the legendary Mr Cash got inspiration for his version of the song from there I am sure....

I think Tom was pretty darn good here...and I love his take on Run On. All 3 versions are great and unique iin their own way Elvis- Cash & Tom.
