Thank you for saying that. The black features that were so beautiful when he was black were not the same when he was white. Except for the cleft in his chin the only thing he changed was his nose but I do think he should have left it alone after the first couple of surgeries.

I think he was just saying some blacks took offensive but he thinks it was just MJ trying to grow as an artist like most artists or even most people. Randy is a good guy, he wasn't trying to imply anything bad about MJ. He admitted he has always been a fan so obviously he wasn't one of those who were offended. A lot of blacks like me looked up to MJ and still do. I think those who took offensive are ignorant.

Hi, thanks for clarifying that. It just seems that a lot of celebrities acknowledge Michael's music publicly, but the truth about Michael as a person is rarely shown on TV. Some people, like myself, could probably misunderstand what Randy said, and interpret it as him saying MJ changed his colour to gain more recognition or something? It's just encouraging something that's not true. And when he said Mike was uncomfortable being in his own skin, did he mean that literally?

I honestly don't think Randy meant anything by it. He was actually looking forward to MJ's 02 concerts. I think we all are uncomfortable in our own skin not literally. Just some soul searching...you know! He said every artist goes through that so to me means he understands the struggles stars go through for being who they are.

You know not being able to walk down the street without the people gathering around him. He accepted it as part of what he had to go through in order to do his job but I do think at one point he felt uncomfortable. He always said people don't act normal around him and that was the one thing he wanted. He liked people who treated him like Mike a human being instead of Michael Jackson
