Hi im from The Netherlands, this is my favorite song of Te Vaka. It has so much meaning if you take the content of the lyrics and see it in your own lives. And the music is just really beautiful as well, the singing n all.. great! And I've used the Kata kata mai song as my alarm hahaha it's always good waking up to that song. God bless you guys! one year later...but te vaka is a group from New Zealand whos lead singer opetaia foai was born in samoa to parents of tokelau and vanuata ancestry...this song is sung in the Tokelau language, small group of islands just north of samoa. they are absolutely the best Pacific island group thereever was formed..
