i dont care that they lose, the fact that they stayed on the ice and were good sports about the lose is what i love about them. They didnt lose because of one player, because it doesnt take one player to lose a hockey game, they got to the finals, they came in second whats so bad about that?
All of those fans that stayed in the arena are the people who have stayed with the canucks through thick and thin, and quite honestly if i could of been there, i would be cheering with them.

A lot of us that were down there cheered the Canucks on for an amazing year, congratulated the Bruins, and then hauled ass out of downtown. And then showed up the next morning, brooms and scrubs in hand and cleaned those stupid fuckfaces' mess.

Tickets for that game were ridiculously expensive, If they werent true Canuck fans they wouldnt have dropped a couple K to watch the game. @fashpart Actually a lot of rioters posed as canucks fans to blend it. But they showed up downtown with hammers, crowbars and equipment to start fires. Guys were actually handing out hammers from their backpack to get people going. The riot was premeditated by a group of anarchists. Hell most of the fans in Rogers arena even stayed around to give boston credit and cheer for them (aside from the booing of Gary Bettman).

Dude, the rioters didn't have to pay for seats... They were watching free outside the arena in the streets on screens. A true fan of any team would never riot at their home team losing, they would accept the loss and realize at the end of the day it's just a sport. Immature people who premeditate a riot (many brought bandanas, one guy brought his own car to burn) is more a reflection on Vancouver than their fans.

People with a Canuck jersey on, who are from Vancouver and are cheering for Vancouver, i would call a fan. and there were many of them in the middle of the riot. Yes there were people there who were planning to riot, but there were also many Canuck fans who just joined in. Saying they aren't true fans because rioted is a scapegoat. Its a reflection on Vancouver citizens, most of which are fans

After the game the vast majority of the fans in the stands stayed to cheer go canucks go and clap for the bruins. Those are the Vancouver fans. And where is this source that rioters came straight from the game to downtown? Im sure some did, but that's a small minority. And your definition of a fan is wrong, I can buy a jersey and clap for the home team during a big game, it doesnt mean I know anything about that team nor does it mean I will care about them after the game.

People shouldnt be calling out Luongo as the sole reason you lost. Yes he did seem to choke and couldnt handle the pressure in game 7 and in Boston, but when you only score 8 goals in 7 games, really just 5 games, you cant expect to win. Loungo stood on his head to help you Win 2 of those games.
Also, please dont complain and be whiners. Refs lost respect for the Canucks who tried to sell calls.
