I should add that the cost of real estate is famously cheap in Michigan. People would move there in a heartbeat if they knew they could work over the Internet. The market for health services is infinite, with an aging population of factory workers.

Of course this is suppose to be a FREE country. So why should states HAVE TO DECLARE THIS when it should already be free to do anything like this automatically. The "big guys" in Mich. are U of M in Ann Arbor and the drug industry in Kalamazoo. The K'zoo operation was moving out the last time I checked, and the Ann Arbor mafia is financed by Michigan taxpayers, who would eagerly revolt against this fat, lazy, elitist institution that serves mostly out-of-staters. U of M crippled my great-aunts in the 1920s and is currently running a sham "safety" study on painkillers, using state residents as guinea pigs. Trust is at an all-time low.

I agree! Whatever state did that I would move there! My concern is next they will take away my herbs and supplements. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and I am looking for where to move (so far looking outside of the US) for freedom of using my natural way of helping my family and myself.

How about Michigan? It's right next to Canada, with 3 direct border crossings. It's broke, with a declining economy. It's unhealthy, with some of the worst obesity and cancer rates in the country. It's educated, with one of the better educational systems. And its attorney general was one of the first to file suit against the federal government against Obamacare. Special bonus: This could shut down the U of M public-health establishment, which has been killing off MIchiganians for decades.

True health care is virtually banned. That has been true for decades. However, corruption also gives incentive to the proliferation of poor quality supplements and herbs due to not regulating them. So many observe a personal nutritional effort as not much help. How sad. Please spread this video!

Great Concept Mike, Positively, non violently revolutionary. No mass movement required. Simply strike all laws restricting the practice of medicine without a license. I agree fully with this. Sadly, in Quebec (East Canada), people would never want a "Health Freedom Zone", citizens are demanding naturopathic doctors out.. A large portion of the population wants drugs and surgery. They want that brain pill. The younger Montreal population is ready for nutrition, supplements, herbs. The high proportion of old people have nearly no access quality/low cost supplements other than the very basic supplements you can find at Costco, but they don't want supplements!

Or you could just do the sensible thing - and adopt a Single-Payer healthcare system. There is no reason to get rid of all modern medicine; because some of it is very helpful (such as emergency surgery). Even medical doctors here in the UK promote natural preventative health methods before they promote drugs. Sadly, it seems that in the USA - doctors are far too keen to sell drugs. And its also notable, that while some drugs are okay - a LOT are just exploitative and un-neccessary.

What we should do is start on a smaller level. Get a lot of people together that think alike, buy a small city in the U.S. and start legislation at the city level and work up to the state level. Set an example.

In that city institute these health care plans and organic coop farming, things like that.

That is how the U.S was formed - people who thought alike grouped together in colonies and then expanded that belief system. It can be done.

Mike, I really like you. I'm a big supporter of most of your thoughts and I appreciate your radical approach to things because someone has to step so far out of the box that it scares people in order to expand the box.

Sometimes you make things a little dramatic though. To my knowledge homeopathic doctors do not have to leave the country to cure diabetes, do they? Opening the door to cure cancer the way you describe also opens the doors to snake oil salesmen.

I agree. A decentralized approach by setting a good example is much better than trying to reform the system from the top-down.

Rather than declaring a state as a "Health Freedom Zone," it would be probably better to first do this at the town or county level. It's much more easier to convince a town or a county rather for health freedom than the whole country. Set a good example at first, and let other people follow at their own time.

Secession will probably be good.
