And yeah...I compete in a lot of music competitions around my state and I've been lucky enough to win a decent amount of money to buy myself a marimba. Hey, I'm thinking of getting that exact model of marimba some day. How do you like it? I've heard that padouk has lesser sound quality, but it seems okay in the video.

@invalid92 I was worried about the loss of sound quality as well, but to be completely honest this marimba is comparable to a rosewood. I have won numerous competitions around the region with this very 4.3 octave Adams padouk. It really depends how serious you are and what sort of venues you would be using it in. Rosewood will always be better but padouk certainly DOES NOT have poor sound quality
